The first look of BOOM! Studios Power Rangers Universe #4 includes a variety of beautiful covers featuring the Pink Ranger. The main cover in particular showcases a variety of Pink Rangers from various eras of Power Rangers that fans of the series will appreciate.

Power Rangers Universe is a limited six-issue series event that will explore the teams within the Power Rangers franchise as well as reveal the origins of characters like the Phantom Ranger and other hidden aspects from this beloved world. This current story revolves around the legendary Morphin Masters for the very first time, taking place eons before the current Power Rangers came to be. This feels like the Power Rangers franchise equivalent of what the High Republic era of comics is to the Star Wars franchise, expanding on the world as a whole with plenty of new content for fans to latch onto and potentially be further explored in future series, limited or otherwise.

The official BOOM! Studios Twitter released the tweet below teasing the fourth issue of Power Rangers Universe, showcasing four of the five covers featured in their first look article that's linked in the post. Their website also has five preview pages from the issue. The main cover art is by Dan Mora, whose art previously graced the pages of several BOOM! Studios series such as Mighty Morphin Power RangersOnce & Future, and WWE. This cover notably unites five different eras of Pink Rangers pulling from the series Mighty Morphin, SPD, Megaforce, Dino Charge, and Time Force. Mora will also be doing the incentive variant for the series. He's been doing the main covers for each issue of this limited series featuring a different ranger broken down as follows: #1 is the Red Ranger, #2 is the Blue Ranger, #3 is the Yellow Ranger, #5 is the Black Ranger, and #6 is the Green Ranger.

The tweet also shows the complete creative team of the limited series: writer Nicole Andelfinger (Jim Henson's The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance), artist Simone Ragazzoni (Power Rangers: Drakkon New Dawn), colorist Mattia Iacono (Radiant Black), letterer Ed Dukeshire (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers), and all four cover artists. In addition to the gorgeous main cover featuring five different Pink Rangers, each of the lovely variant covers will showcase a particular Pink Ranger. Two of the variant cover artists, Mighty Morphin artists Keyla Valerio and Goñi Montes, showcase the Pink Ranger with her trademark bow. Stray Dogs artist Helena Masellis has a similar approach to the background as Montes. Lastly, in the cover not featured in the Twitter post but that is in the official first look of the issue, there is Catwoman artist Jeff Dekal's cover. It takes an unconventional gray and white color scheme background approach to compliment the white in the Pink Ranger's suit rather than the pink.

The main conflict in this issue will focus on the Morphin Masters handling their burnout from the search for raw Grid Energy as well as keeping the Morphinaut alive during battle. All five covers of Power Rangers Universe #4 will be available for fans to pick up in comic book stores or order from the BOOM! Studios webstore on March 23, 2022. The issue will also be available on digital platforms like comiXology and Google Play.
