Mighty Morphin Power Rangers may have debuted 30 years ago, but it spawned a franchise with a lasting impact on pop culture that continues to this day. But even as old fans and new viewers enjoy the latest Power Rangers seasons on Netflix or read spin-off stories from Boom! Comics, their attention often returns to the season that started it all. Names like Kimberly Hart and Billy Cranston resonate through the decades, whether the current set of rangers is fighting Rita Repulsa or an entirely different threat.

Naturally, that means fans are always ready to add another Mighty Morphin Power Rangers piece to their collection, and Diamond Select Toys is equally as ready to provide. Since Power Rangers Cosmic Fury coincides with the 30th anniversary of the original series, welcoming iconic cast members back to the fold for the big year, now is a perfect time to celebrate with gorgeous merchandise. Screen Rant can thus present an exclusive first look at the next exciting item from the collectibles distributor, a 1/2 scale bust of the Green Ranger, which can be viewed below.

The latest Diamond Select Toys release is part of the Legends in 3D line, a half-scale bust of the Green Ranger. Played by Jason David Frank, Tommy Oliver first appeared in the now-classic Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers. The bust is approximately 10 inches tall, with exquisite detail designed by Joe Allard and sculpted by Rocco Tartamella. The Green Ranger bust is a limited edition with only 1000 pieces set at $200 each, and every single one arrives with its own numbered certificate of authenticity inside of a full-color box. Pre-orders open November 18 at Diamond Select Toys, while shipping begins in the Summer of 2023.

Diamond Select Toys have released several busts in their Legends in 3-Dimensions series, including the Red Ranger from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Jason Lee Scott. But they also have several other popular franchises represented, such as the Doctor Strange and Iron Man busts from Avengers: Infinity War and the Storm Shadow and Scorpion ones from G.I. Joe. While fans await to see which beloved MMPR character will be brought to 1/2 scale next, they can begin by collecting the Red and Green Rangers.

What To Expect From The Power Rangers 30th Anniversary

The long-awaited Mighty Morphin Power Rangers reunion special is slated to include Karan Ashley, who played the second Yellow Ranger, Aisha Campbell. In addition, several other second-generation Rangers will return, such as Johnny Yong Bosch (Black Ranger), Catherine Sutherland (Pink Ranger), and Steve Cardenas (Red Ranger). The first generation is far from forgotten, however, as David Yost (Blue Ranger) and Walter Emanuel Jones (Black Ranger) will also be making an appearance. Perhaps most touchingly, Charlie Kersh will play Trini Kwan's daughter, so that her character may have a presence despite actress Thuy Trang's tragic passing. Between the upcoming anniversary special and the host of new Netflix programming for the franchise, it's clear the legacy of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers is as strong as ever.
