Power Rangers Dino Fury has announced the cast for its new lineup of Power Rangers. It was recently revealed that the Power Rangers franchise is creating a cinematic universe, and the Dino Fury show is just the first step in making this extended universe. Other installments in the Power Rangers cinematic universe will include a movie tying into the past 27 years of TV continuity.

While there has been a great deal of Power Rangers variations from Hasbro over the years, the show's general concept has remained the same since its inception. Though the individual cast members may not drastically change the show, many past Rangers have gone on to have successful acting careers. Now, Hasbro has revealed the actors that will be stepping up for these roles on Power Rangers Dino Fury.

The cast announcement came as part of an official press release from Hasbro about the new show. Power Rangers Dino Fury features Russell Curry as Zayto the Red Ranger, Hunter Deno as Amelia the Pink Ranger, Kai Moya as Blue Ranger Ollie, Tessa Rao plays Green Ranger Izzy, and Chance Perez as the Black Ranger Javi. These actors have had small film and television roles before, but their appearances on Power Rangers Dino Fury are likely to be their breakout roles. Of course, Hasbro also included a new line of Power Rangers themed toys in their announcement, bringing new additions to their “Lightning Collection” line of products.

Power Rangers Megazords

Earlier this year, it was rumored that Hasbro would be cutting ties with Toei, the production company it has partnered with for years to create new Power Rangers content. The reported separation of the two companies would mean that Power Rangers Dino Fury would not include any action footage from Toei’s Japanese series Super Sentai like the past several Power Rangers shows. This means that this new cast of Power Rangers Dino Fury would be performing their Rangers for the entire show, not a few scenes.

If this is the case, Curry, Deno, Moya, Rao, and Perez (and their stunt doubles) may end up having to perform more action scenes than any of their previous Power Rangers counterparts. Though a past trailer for the show demonstrated the impressive new tech Dino Fury would debut, we have yet to see the new rangers jump into action themselves. Fans will have to wait until Power Rangers: Dino Fury debuts in 2021 to see how these new Rangers stack up.
