Since the debut of Porsha's Family Matters, viewers have started to change their opinions of the star after finally noticing her true colors. Now that Porsha has her own solo spin-off, all eyes are on her. No longer are her flaws outshined by the likes of Kenya Moore or NeNe Leakes. Viewers are able to focus on the drama Porsha seemingly brings upon herself. While working to bring together her blended family on her new show, Porsha is quickly becoming the villain on her own show.
Porsha's spin-off was teased shortly after she announced her departure from The Real Housewives of Atlanta. She starred on the show for the last decade and viewers were able to watch her growth. Porsha started the show as the wife of Kordell Stewart and was a new divorcee by her second season. Over the years, fans watched Porsha date around, find herself, fall in love again and welcome her first child. But it was Dennis McKinley's cheating that led to the pair going their separate ways.
On her new spin-off, Porsha is working to get her family and ex-fiance comfortable with her newfound engagement to Simon Guobadia. But Dennis doesn't shy away from calling Porsha out in front of her face and during his confessionals. Even Porsha's sister Lauren can't deny that Porsha is in the wrong in certain situations. Redditors were quick to point out how Porsha has become the villain on her own show after u/bellabille started a thread asking for opinions on the new spin-off. The Redditor explained how the show "backfired on Porsha." The fan believes the series is only "exposing her true self."
According to Dennis, he and Porsha broke up in December 2020 and by May, she was engaged to Simon. He also claims that Porsha got engaged to Simon after dating him for just two weeks. Meanwhile, Porsha has a whole family that also doesn't know the man she's set to marry. Lauren appears conflicted about accepting Porsha's new relationship because of how fast her sister is moving with Simon. There's also pre-existing drama between Dennis and Porsha's cousin Storm that only makes things worse. Viewers are praising Dennis for serving as the show's comedic relief. Considering his cheating past, many are surprised by how much they ended up liking Dennis on the new show. "Dennis is hilarious, albeit coddled by his horrible mom. Portia sucks too. But Dennis… so funny," one fan said.

With just a few episodes in, Porsha's Family Matters is revealing a new side to Porsha that might actually be the real Porsha fans didn't get a chance to see much of her RHOA.
