Atlanta rumor mills are swirling that Porsha Williams is headed back to The Real Housewives of Atlanta for the fifteenth season. Viewers first met Porsha during season 5 of RHOA; she was married to NFL star Kordell Stewart at the time. By the time season 6 of the franchise premiered, Porsha's marriage to Kordell was over. Porsha seemed to loosen up and come out of her shell, becoming the "Porsha" that fans are obsessed with. In March 2019, fans got to see Porsha step into a role she had always wanted: motherhood. Porsha announced her pregnancy with now-ex Dennis McKinley, and in March, Porsha and Dennis welcomed their daughter, Pilar.The viewers of RHOA saw the demise of Dennis and Porsha as well as all the drama within the cast of the show. Porsha made sure to stay intertwined with all things drama. In season 13, Porsha brought "friend of" Falynn Guobadia (now Falynn Pina) to film with the rest of the ladies. Fans weren't expecting what would play out in the off-season with Porsha and Falynn's then-husband, Simon Guobadia. In January of 2021, Simon filed for divorce from Faylnn. Then in May, only four months later, Porsha announced her engagement to Simon to the world. A mess of media followed Porsha's announcement and, shortly after, news of her departure from RHOA was announced, confirming she would not return for season 14.The drought of Porsha for RHOA fans is rumored to end sooner than later. Bravo Beez tweeted out, "Exclusive: Welcome back, Porsha! The #RHOA star will likely be rejoining the cast for its upcoming season! Are you excited to have Porsha back on the cast?" With a season of the Atlanta cast missing Porsha coming to an end, fans instantly commented about the news. Replying to this exclusive tweet about Porsha, The Reality Tv Guru tweeted, "YESS! Her fun energy is what was missing." Overall, fans responded with pure joy that they not only get to see Porsha on their television screen during the upcoming season 3 of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, but now again in an entire housewife season.
The fans of RHOA weren't the only ones begging for Porsha to return to her rightful spot as a peach holder. Current cast member Drew Sidora stays close to Porsha outside of filming any TV show. While speaking to Page Six recently, Drew was vocal about wanting some of the current cast gone so some of her past housewife BFFs, like Porsha, could enter the picture again. While speaking about replacing current members of the cast with past members, Drew said, "Oh, that's so easy. The runner, track star Sanya [Richards-Ross] … she can just go back on that track and run a new race 'cause this is not the one for her."
The Real Housewives of Atlanta is a pillar in the housewife world, but the franchise doesn't seem like the same obsessed-over show it was when Porsha was holding a peach. If the current cast is smart and wants to sweep the rest of the cities with viewership, they will have to agree with fans that bringing Porsha back is in the show's best interest. The ladies will be packed and loaded with questions if Porsha does make her return, especially regarding her life with Simon.
