The next playable Pokémon coming to Pokémon Unite is Delphox, the Fire and Psychic-type Fox Pokémon. TiMi Studio Group's free-to-play multiplayer online battle arena lets two teams become their favorite Pokémon and face off to conquer Aeos Island. Since launch the MOBA title has been steadily expanding its playable roster, with Pokémon Unite recently adding Espeon in May.

A typical Pokémon Unite match sees two teams of five players face off to see who can score the most points within the match's time limit. Players are free to choose their own playable Pokémon from a roster consisting of fan-favorites like Pikachu, Charizard, Blastoise and Snorlax. Teams in Pokémon Unite can score points by defeating roaming wild Pokémon, beating other players in battle or reaching one of several goals strewn across Aeos Island. Since the game's launch developer TiMi Studio Group has released several updates and patches, which expand Pokémon Unite's roster of playable Pokémon and add unique new ways to play. For example, Pokémon Unite's Catch 'Em Battles mode lets players control any wild Pokémon they defeat in order to gain an advantage over the competition.

As revealed via Twitter, Pokémon Unite will soon add Delphox to its ever-expanding roster of playable Pokémon. The Fire and Psychic-type Fox Pokémon is the final evolution of Fennekin, the fox-like Fire-type Starter Pokémon introduced in Pokémon X and Y. The pocket monster is known for both its powerful pyromancy and supernatural insight, which should make it a unique and interesting Pokémon to control in Pokémon Unite. While Delphox's exact moveset is currently a mystery, the Fox Pokémon will be added to TiMi Studio Group's MOBA on June 8.

While the Pokémon MOBA is a free-to-play game, a Pokémon Unite Club Membership subscription was recently made available for purchase. The brand-new service costs $10 a month to join, but it will grant subscribers a number of useful rewards on a weekly basis. The Club Membership will give Pokémon Unite players access to exclusive in-game discounts, special portrait frames, Aeos Gems, trial Holowear and more. This arguably make the service a fair deal, but many Pokémon Unite fans are frustrated by the addition of a paid service to a previously free-to-play title. The intrusive microtransaction has resulted in backlash, but some are simply excited to receive a weekly allowance of useful in-game items.

Pokémon Unite showcases a wide range of unique Pokémon, and now Delphox will step into the Aeos Island arena on June 8. The combined Fire and Psychic-type fox has a truly unique style and skillset, so players will likely gravitate towards the combustible creature once it arrives in-game. While Delphox's moveset is still unknown, Pokémon Unite players can look forward to roasting the competition on June 8.
