Trainers can mass transfer their legendary and mythical Pokémon from Pokémon Go to Pokémon Home. It's the cloud-based storage system that allows trainers to store thousands of their Pokémon in a safe and secure location. There are two versions available with the free version permitting only 30 Pokémon to be stored at a time. Those who are subscribed to the premium membership will be able to store up to 6,000 Pokémon at a time. Without a doubt, Pokémon Go is the game that makes it the easiest to complete the Pokédex in Pokémon Home.

Pokémon Go has the benefit of being a Pokémon title with multiple legendary Pokémon to capture. In most mainline titles, only a handful of legendary Pokémon is available in the region. Through Pokémon Go, new legendary Pokémon are added to the game as part of its Raid Battle system. Trainers can work together to take down a tougher version of a Pokémon and are given the opportunity to capture it at the end. In Pokémon Go alone, trainers can capture Mewtwo, Hoopa, Mew, Rayquaza, and many more iconic legendaries.

In order to mass transfer legendary and mythical Pokémon from Pokémon Go to Pokémon Home, the trainer will need to enter their settings tab first. Scroll down and make sure the "Expanded Group Transfer" is enabled. This allows the player to transfer legendary and certain mythical Pokémon in bulk while exploring Pokémon storage. To start transferring to Pokémon Home, scroll down even more and choose the "Pokémon Home" option. Here, trainers can start to send their Pokémon over to Pokémon Home.

Transferring Pokémon From GO to Home

It's important to mention that trainers will need to use the GO Transporter to send Pokémon from Pokémon Go to Pokémon Home. It will need to recharge using real-time but trainers can make this process go faster by spending Poké Coins. When selecting legendary or mythical Pokémon, these will use more of the GO Transporters energy than normal Pokémon. Shiny, legendary, and mythical Pokémon will use more energy than others.

After selecting the Pokémon the player wishes to transfer, open up the Pokémon Home app and claim them there. Trainers will not be able to send more Pokémon until they claim the Pokémon they already sent and they'll need to wait until the GO Transporter recharges. From experience, the best thing to do would be to make a list of the legendary Pokémon the player is missing in Pokémon Home. Prioritize those when transferring Pokémon and wait for the GO Transporter to automatically recharge. Trainers should be saving their Poké Coins for other items in the shop instead.
