The Pokémon Trading Card Game's Incandescent Arcana set has launched in Japan, and it has many rare Full Art cards. With the announcement that Gen 9 Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is releasing in November, Nintendo confirmed that the Pokémon Sword and Shield TCG series is coming to an end. The final Gen 8 Galar TCG expansion will feature many cards from the Incandescent Arcana set, including a handful of rare Full Art collectibles.

Since the launch of the Pokémon TCG in 1996, the Nintendo tabletop game has always released every new set first in Japan. While international players will get the Lost Origin TCG set in September, the last Sword and Shield expansion, Silver Tempest, will actually debut worldwide in Fall 2022. The final Galar region TCG release will feature a massive setlist of cards, from both Japanese sets Incandescent Arcana and Paradigm Trigger.

With the Pokémon Incandescent Arcana TCG set out now in Japan, players can get a look at what to expect from Silver Tempest when it hits stores this Fall. The winter-themed expansion features a setlist of 94 cards, including new Pokémon V and Trainer cards. The Japanese release also has an additional secret setlist of Hidden Rare VSTAR and Trainer Gallery collectibles.
