It's no secret that Sword and Shield players have the hotly-anticipated Mythical Pokemon Zarude arriving in their games soon enough, and The Pokemon Company has finally pulled back the curtain on the creature's brand-new signature move. The monkey-like creature made for a pleasant surprise when it was revealed on Pokemon Day 2020. It's easily one of the cooler designs that have debuted within the new generation of pocket monsters, but there's still a bit of mystery surrounding Zarude.

Truth be told, not much is known about the new mon outside of its name, Dark/Grass-typing, and look. This means that gamers are chomping at the bit wondering when they'll actually be able to add it to their team. While Nintendo and The Pokemon Company aren't quite ready to reveal that information yet, the pair have been dropping small details about Zarude since the Mythical was first announced. Case in point, the monster's special move has now been unveiled.

The signature attack for Zarude has been revealed and it is dubbed 'Jungle Healing'. The move is something that can (currently) only be learned by the latest pocket monster at level 90. It features vines that shoot out of its back and attach to trees, which Zarude then absorbs the energy from and unleashes. The move actually heals the gargantuan ape and all of the allied Pokemon around it. Additional health isn't the only thing distributed, however, as it also cures status conditions. Suffice it to say, this makes Zarude a powerful ally in doubles matches and Raids.

While Sword and Shield has been keeping things fresh for players with Raid events have been changing up on a near-monthly basis, gamers are waiting for something more to keep them entertained. The upcoming DLC expansions for Pokemon Sword and Shield should act as a nice reprieve when the first half of it (Isle of Armor) arrives in June. Hopefully aspiring Pokemon Masters won't be waiting quite that long to get their hands on Zarude, but only time will tell.

For now, fans can keep themselves preoccupied with comparing Zarude to The Powerpuff Girls' Mojo Jojo. The Pokemon Company may not be entirely thrilled by the comparisons and memes that have stemmed from the design similarities, but they're certainly entertaining. Much more entertaining than the 'Dexit' controversy that plagued Sword and Shield prior to launch.
