In every major biome of New Pokémon Snap, players will need to unlock Illumina Orbs to take unique photos of each of the over 200 Pokémon available in the game. The results of using an Illumina Orb are unpredictable. When a player tosses an Illumina Orb at a Pokémon, they will begin to glow, entering a brief Illumina State and behaving differently. They may strike new poses, lure new Pokémon to their location, or even open hidden paths to Legendary and Mythical Pokémon. Players will need to follow the same process to unlock Illumina Orbs on every stage of New Pokémon Snap.

Unlocking Illumina Orbs in New Pokémon Snap requires players to find and photograph a flower called Crystabloom. They will need to turn in the photograph to Professor Mirror, which he can use to give the player Illumina Orbs. These can be thrown using the Research Camera, just like Fluffruit. In the Founja Jungle on Belusylva Island, players will need to complete the Night version of the level once to unlock Illumina Orbs. The Crystabloom plant can be found at the very end of the level. If players are struggling to figure out where to go or what to look for, here's how to unlock Illumina Orbs in the Founja Jungle in New Pokémon Snap.

How to Find the Founja Jungle Crystabloom in New Pokémon Snap

To unlock Illumina Orbs in the Founja Jungle in New Pokémon Snap, players will need to first complete the Day stage and unlock the Night stage of the level. They will need to look for the Crystabloom flower. In the Jungle areas, Crystablooms glow yellow.

Typically, players will find the Crystabloom on the main course of the Founja Jungle (Night) level, near the end of the route. At the waterfall pond, players should look to the right. The Crystabloom can be found next to a Quagsire. They will simply need to snap a photo and turn it in to unlock their Illumina Orbs.

The Scan function on the research camera can also reveal the locations of Crystablooms. As players explore an area, a blue dot will appear whenever there is an item to scan. Crystablooms will cause this dot to appear, and players can pinpoint the exact locations of these flowers more easily when using the Scanner.

Because each area of the Lental Region has its own special Crystablooms, each of which glow a separate color, players will need to continue to find and photograph Crystablooms each time they begin a new course. Illumina Orbs must be unlocked in each separate area in New Pokémon Snap, which can get tedious. Additionally, Crystablooms can be located at various points in the level and will not always appear at the end of the Night version of a course. Players will need to do a bit of searching before they are able to use Illumina Orbs to take unique, dynamic photos and uncover all the secrets in every location.
