The newest entry in the long-running Pokemon franchise, Pokemon Snap, doesn't sport gameplay that many players are familiar with. Rather than having players pit adorable and deadly little monsters against each other in combat, players will instead get to ride around in a small vehicle taking pictures of their favorite Pokemon in their natural habitats. Snapping pictures of Pokemon is a fun and stress-free adventure, but this doesn't mean the game comes without its share of challenges.

One of the things that players can choose to do while playing Pokemon Snap is attempt to complete the game's different LenTalk Requests. These are challenges that are given out by different NPCs in the game that require the player to take a picture of a Pokemon under certain conditions. One of these requests is called "Meganium's Pal" and it asks the player to get a picture of Meganium. This guide shows players how to complete "Meganium's Pal".

Pokemon Snap: How to Complete Meganium's Pal

Meganium Boss

Many of the LenTalk Requests in Pokemon Snap will grant player's special rewards for their trouble, while others will just give them the chance to catch Pokemon in very unique positions. The "Meganium's Pal" mission doesn't give out any rewards, but it is the best chance that players have to get a four-star photo of a Meganium. Each of the different LenTalk Requests in the game gives players a small clue to solve in order to figure out the special requirements needed for the photo. "Meganium's Pal" gives players this clue:

"When Meganium gets to this spot, it starts looking around kinda restlessly. Do you think it's looking for one of its friends?"

What the player will need to do is first get to the point where they unlock the Floria Nature Park Illumina Spot. Here the long Pokemon for the player to catch is Meganium who is always affected by Illumina. The player will need to wait until they make it almost to the very end of the course when Meganium stops near a large tree and begins looking around. The player needs to toss fruit at this tree until a Hoothoot comes out to say hello to Meganium. The player will then need to get a picture of the two Pokemon together to complete this task.
