Scarlet & Violet Might Leave Pokémon Stranded In Pokémon Home

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Serperior Emboar Home Transfer

Fans reacted to the leaked Pokémon Home transfer list and quickly realized that several Pokémon were being left out again after not appearing in the Gen 8 Pokémon Sword and Shield Crown Tundra DLC in 2021. Pokémon outlet Centro LEAKS reflected on the list's impact on the series and pointed out that over eleven evolution lines could end up being stuck in Pokémon Home. If the leak holds true Scarlet and Violet's release, Pokémon such as Serperior and Zebstrika might not ever be available in a Nintendo Switch game. Interestingly most of the Pokémon seem to be from the Unova Pokémon Black and White series.

With every major Pokémon Scarlet and Violet leak being confirmed legitimate, players now have a pretty clear idea of what to expect from Pokémon Home's integration into the Paldea Region games. There are still many Gen 9 Pokémon that have not been revealed yet though, so the Pokédex leak centers on returning and Home transfer Pokémon only. According to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Leaks, Game Freak is also planning on bringing back the DLC expansion format that debuted in Gen 8's Sword and Shield. So it's possible that some of the missing Pokemon Home transfers will get another shot at finally being made available on the Nintendo Switch console.
