A skilled The Sims 4 builder has recreated some of the best locations from classic Pokémon games, introducing some Nintendo flair to the EA hit. Players have been reimagining their favorite movies and games within the life simulation since its launch in 2014, making everything from Red Dead Redemption builds to Twelve Minutes within The Sims 4.

The Sims 4 community is a creative one, and thanks to semi-regular expansion releases and new additions to the game's item catalog, building within the game has never been so easy. Players can bring their dream buildings to life, not only placing the walls, floors, and shaping the terrain, but also decorating their creations with hundreds of Build/Buy items. As well as EA's official Sims items, players can also make use of custom content, fan-created items that can be downloaded for an even more tailored experience. Custom content has previously been used to make unique and otherwise impossible builds, and has even made a Fresh Prince of Bel-Air Sims recreation possible.

Redditor Feelinara1992 has remade some of Pokémon's most iconic areas within The Sims 4, spanning from across the whole series. The builds include Pallet Town, one of the franchises' earliest areas, as well as the Pokémon Sword and Shield Research Lab, and the home of the playable character from the same games. The incredibly detailed builds reimagine the Pokémon locations like never before, with details including the long grass in which Pokémon can hide, as well as accurate fencing, roofs, and even ponds. Fans of the creations can download and play with them themselves, as the user has uploaded them to The Sims 4 Gallery. They can be found either by searching under the "Pokémon" hashtag, or by finding the creator through their EA user ID: JuliaChristaLi.

Over on The Sims 4 Gallery, fans of the Reddit post will find a host of other impressive Pokémon-inspired creations from the Simmer. A Pokémon farm, the Goldenrod City Arena (built as a library), and a Fortress City treehouse are all available for others to download and explore. There's even pre-made Pokémon-inspired Sim families to download, so players are all prepared to get stuck into a brand new Sims x Pokémon adventure.

While the Redditor's Pokémon builds won't introduce any pocket monsters or battling to the life simulation game, they will allow for some creative storytelling to tide fans over until the release of the next official Pokémon games. Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are set to launch on Nintendo Switch on November 19, and are primed to introduce a whole new generation of Pokémon fans to the original 2006 Nintendo DS classics, fully remade from the ground up. Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are available to preorder from the Nintendo eshop now.
