While completing the various Requests about Jubilife Village in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Trainers will encounter Sanqua, a quest giver who lives on the first blue-roofed house near the town's southern gate. By speaking to her, she will tell the player about her predicament of not being able to get a good night's sleep because of an eerie crackling sound. Someone or something else is hiding in her home in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, and it is up to the Trainer to figure out what's happening.
Once the initial dialogue ends with Sanqua, the Trainer will begin Request 16, "Strange Happenings at Midnight." After activating the quest, Sanqua will ask that the player investigate her home at nighttime since she works during the day. Unless the in-game time is already night, Trainers will need to wait until night arrives or manually switch the time. To change the time of day in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, players need to visit their house. The player home is located to the right of the Galaxy Team HQ. Inside, players can interact with their bed to rest. By resting, Trainers can select how long they wish to sleep. Afterward, they will wake up at their desired time.
After entering the house, Trainers can begin to "search Sanqua's house to solve the mystery" of Request 16's hidden secret in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. There are multiple points of interest within the home to investigate, yet the first thing players should interact with is the small open basket on the table in the back of the room. Once Trainers notice a faint smell of Berries, a startling thump will sound from the entryway.

Next, Trainers should head over to the cloth-covered furniture near the front door of Sanqua's house. Interact with the shelf and choose the option to draw back the cloth. Although nothing on-screen happens, the game will describe that something small dashes past the player towards the back of the room. Investigate the green folding screens in the back to continue the search.
Hiding behind the screens, Pokémon Legends: Arceus Trainer will discover a Pichu. Startled by the Pokémon's squeaks, Sanqua will enter the house to investigate the noise. During a brief cutscene, Sanqua will reveal that she helped the Pichu some time ago. Once the conversation ends, Sanqua will reward the player with Nanab Berries ×7. These Berries are useful consumables that can be fed to a Pokémon to restore a third of its max HP.
