Sneasler is one of the Pokémon Mounts in Pokémon Legends: Arceus that Trainers can ride to climb cliffs and scale steep ridges in the mountainous areas of Hisui. Riding Sneasler is very beneficial when traversing the Coronet Highlands, as the nimble Pokémon can help the player effortlessly reach elevated areas where quest objectives or valuable resources are located. To unlock this Ride Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Trainers will need to fulfill two prerequisites.
The Sneasler Mount is acquired during the mission, "Scaling Perilous Heights," the 11th quest in Pokémon Legends: Arceus' main storyline. However, to access this mission, Trainers will first need to have quelled the three Noble Pokémon: Kleavor, Lilligant, and Arcanine. The second requirement is that players must reach Star Rank 4 to accept the mission. There are several techniques to increase one's Star Rank in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Trainers can head into any area with missing entries in their Pokédex. This information can be checked by filtering the Pokédex by location. Players should proceed to catch any new Pokémon they can find and then use these Pokémon in battles with other wild Pokémon that require entries while using particular moves indicated by the Pokédex.
Once players have beat the first three Noble Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus and attained Rank 4, they can accept "Scaling Perilous Heights" from Commander Kamado in Jubilife Village. To enter the mission area, Coronet Highlands, Trainers must speak with Captain Cyllene, the leader of the Galaxy Team's Survey Corp.
Unlocking Sneasler in Pokémon Legends: Arceus
One of the first tasks that Trainers must complete during "Scaling Perilous Heights" is defeating Melli and her Level 40 Skunktank. As a Poison and Dark-Type Pokémon, Skunktank will take more damage from Ground-Type moves. After progressing through the Ancient Quarry, Warden Ingo will challenge players to a battle once they've reached the next destination. From his party, he will send out a Level 41 Machoke, Level 41 Tangela, and Level 42 Gliscor.
First, it is recommended for players to use Flying, Psychic, Fairy-Type Moves on Machoke in Pokémon Legends: Arceus since it is a Fighting-Type Pokémon. As for Tangela, many elemental attacks are effective against it, including Flying, Poison, Bug, Fire, Ice-Type Moves. Finally, Gliscor is a Ground and Flying-Type, which means that Trainers should focus on using moves imbued with Water or Ice.
