A hilarious Pokémon Legends: Arceus glitch allows the typically cumbersome Snorlax to run even faster than Sonic the Hedgehog. The latest game in the monster collection series introduces some important innovations, including a vast open world to explore and real-time Pokémon battles to master. Pokémon Legends: Arceus' action-RPG gameplay mechanics give players new ways to capture pocket monsters, but they also give wild Pokémon the opportunity to fight back.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus' world is realistically populated with Pokémon, in contrast to older entries where creatures would randomly appear for battle. Each Pokémon acts in a different way, with calm monsters like Bidoof ignoring the player while aggressive ones like Shinx attack on sight. While the player can potentially catch aggressive Pokémon using stealth, getting spotted forces the player to run away or prepare for battle. Pokémon Legends: Arceus also contains wild Alpha Pokémon, complete with glowing red eyes, and these creatures are much angrier and more powerful than their standard versions. Pokémon Legends: Arceus' Alpha Pokémon can be a huge challenge, but capturing them can also grant players a very useful ally.

Reddit user PressTurn recently encountered an Alpha Snorlax in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, and the Sleeping Pokémon showed off a strange new ability. Standing on top of a rock to avoid the massive monster, the player watched as Snorlax attempted to charge. The giant presumably built up momentum against the rock, which was released in the form of an incredibly fast dash. PressTurn hilariously turned around to find the Alpha Snorlax on top of a tree some distance away, showcasing that Snorlax's rarely-seen super-speed rivals that of Sonic the Hedgehog or The Flash.

With Snorlax now demonstrating lightning-fast speed within Pokémon Legends: Arceus, it seems logical that its previous form Munchlax would also display some respectable reflexes. A Pokémon Legends: Arceus commercial parodying Hell's Kitchen, with the Big Eater Pokémon in a central role, recently showcased these blinding abilities. The commercial sees a television chef attempting to prepare ingredients, though the quick and conniving Munchlax cannot stop eating them. The already hilarious commercial gains all-new meaning after PressTurn's Snorlax encounter, with both pocket monsters showing off impressive speed despite their considerable mass.

By channeling the power of Sonic the Hedgehog, Pokémon Legends: Arceus' Alpha Snorlax was able to sprint and climb a tree in mere seconds. By combining intimidating size with unstoppable speed, the creature would be a force to be reckoned with for any trainer. While the feat of incredible speed seems to be a mere physics bug, gamers should stay alert to make sure Snorlax never uses his demonic dash against them.
