A fan and player of Pokémon Legends: Arceus has made a perfect replica of the trainer's house in Animal Crossing New Horizons. The crossover of the two Nintendo Switch games has delighted fans, especially since the newly released Arceus is very different from other Pokémon games and increasingly popular because of it.
Animal Crossing New Horizons is widely known for its creative community. The fifth game in the Animal Crossing series was released in 2020 along with its own themed Nintendo Switch and fans have been dedicated to generating their own creations and inviting the countless characters in the game to their islands ever since. ACNH makes multiplayer very simple and the community can quickly share their creations with each other in-game. Fans are also quick to share their designs and islands on social media, and replications of pop-culture phenomena are abundant. These creations range from being game-related to TV shows or movies and aren't limited to actual in-game creations such as this artist's piece showing Encanto's Mirabel, Dolores, and Isabela in the ACNH style.
Recently, a player of both Pokémon Legends: Arceus and Animal Crossing New Horizons skillfully created a flawless replica of the main Pokémon trainer's home on their own ACNH island. In a Reddit post by ButIDigress79, they display their extremely well-made reproduction of the Arceus bedroom down to the shoji screens and green mats. The room also includes a cooking pot in the middle, a brown dresser on the left side of the room, and a table and pot on the right side. The last slide the poster included on the post is a screenshot of the Pokémon trainer's room in Arceus and it's almost hard to tell which room is the actual one. Commenters on the post praised ButIDigress for their spot-on model of the main character's room and even said the home in Arceus inspired their own ACNH creations.

Pokémon has crossed over into Animal Crossing New Horizons before when a fan created the Pokémon Shield and Sword bedroom in Animal Crossing in 2021 and excited the community in the same way. Pokémon Legends: Arceus is also the latest in its franchise and differs from previous Pokémon games with its emphasis on exploration. The game is mostly semi-open-world, includes new variants of Pokémon available to be captured in the ancient Hisui region, and serves as the origin story for the Pokémon Diamond and Pearl games.
Both Animal Crossing and Pokémon are well-loved and esteemed franchises with continuously supportive fanbases. Due to the popularity of the titles and them being available to play on the same console, it's not a surprise that the communities overlap. Fans are elated to see the new and popular Pokémon Legends: Arceus cross over into the beloved Animal Crossing New Horizons. It is interesting to see what else the combined communities come up with, such as a Pokémon and Animal Crossing-Style spinoff game.
