Wooloo is the final Pokemon to have its own Spotlight Hour this August in Pokemon Go. Wooloo is one of the staple Pokemon of the Galar region. Introduced in Pokemon Sword and Shield, players would find Wooloo wandering around the field, ready to be captured. It became an instant favorite for Pokemon fans because of its adorable rolling animation. Now, Wooloo, and a handful of other Galar Pokemon, will be making their way to Pokemon Go through the Ultra Unlock event. The final two Spotlight Hours for the month were well hidden to keep the surprise of Galar's introduction. Here's how players can prepare for this upcoming Spotlight Hour.

Wooloo Spotlight Hour in Pokemon Go will take place on August 31st from 6 pm to 7 pm local time. During this time period, Wooloo's spawn rate will be drastically increased. Not only that, but players will be able to get double the number of XP for capturing Pokemon. This is especially great for those high-level players who are struggling to level up due to the high-level cap. There's a lot to take advantage of during this Spotlight Hour and this guide will show players how.

How To Prepare For Wooloo Spotlight Hour in Pokemon Go

Wooloo crying in Pokémon Sword and Shield

As mentioned, Wooloo Spotlight Hour in Pokemon Go will take place from 6 pm to 7 pm local time. Here are all the different ways for players to prepare for it.

  • Capture Plenty of Wooloo: Since Galar is only recently being added to the game, and the Ultra Unlock event is increasing the spawn rate of all Galar Pokemon, players should take advantage of capturing as many Wooloo as possible. It will only get more difficult as Galar becomes more normalized in the game.
  • Lucky Egg: Since double XP will already be active, placing a Lucky Egg on top of that will bring the XP buff to x4. The perfect chance to get a ton of XP.
  • No Shiny: Wooloo has a beautiful Shiny form but it, unfortunately, is not a part of the game just yet. For Shiny Hunters, they'll have to wait a little bit longer.

This is the last Spotlight Hour for the month of August. Typically, the Spotlight Hours are announced right at the end of the month. During this time, they may introduce more Galar Pokemon into the mix. Players might still be wondering when they can get their hands on Pokemon from the Alola region, but only time will tell.
