- Stardust: Make sure to use a Star Piece during this time to double the amount of Stardust you collect. Since spawns will be happening so often, it's a great way to gather tons of it.
- Lucky Egg: If you have a Lucky Egg, now is the chance to use it. This will double the amount of XP the player will earn during this period. Double the Candy and double the XP is always a good thing.
- Special Research: For those looking to complete a Special Research Task that requires you to capture Fire-type Pokemon, now is your chance. The Shiny Mew Special Research needs players to catch as many as possible.
