Gible is finally having its own dedicated Community Day in Pokemon Go. This guide will show players what they can do to prepare for this event. For tons of loyal players, the most recent Community Day events have been lackluster in terms of content. Some of the Pokemon that have been readily available already had their Shiny forms in the game. This is a big reason for players to head out into the world on Community Day, to capture as many Shiny Pokemon as they can. Now, Gible has been one of the most requested Community Day Pokemon in history. Niantic finally caved and gave the players what they want. This guide will show players how they can prepare for this upcoming event.

For starters, Gible Community Day will take place on Sunday, June 6th from 11 am to 5 pm local time. This gives players 6 hours to capture as many Shiny Gible as they can. During this time, players will also have an x3 Catch XP active which is perfect for leveling up faster. Not only that, but players who evolve their Gible into a Garchomp within 2 hours of the event ending will have the Pokemon learn Earth Power. There are a few different ways for players to prepare for this upcoming event and this guide will show players how they can do it.

How To Prepare For The Gible Community Day in Pokemon Go

Pokemon GO June Community Event stars Gible

Here are a few ways for players to get ready for the Gible Community Day.

  • Invest in Lucky Eggs: Since this event is focused on capturing tons of Pokemon at once and it will have a triple catch rate XP bonus, investing in Lucky Eggs is a great idea. This will stack and the total XP will go to x6. This is great for those players looking to earn tons of XP.
  • Just A Nibble: This is the premium Special Research task that players can purchase for $1. This will provide players with additional tasks to complete during Community Day. Since it only costs a dollar, it is highly recommended.
  • Shiny Check: For those on the hunt for Shiny Gible, just tap a Gible on the map and run if it isn't Shiny. This will save time between encounters and increase your chances of finding a Shiny faster.

This Community Day is one that players will not want to miss. Garchomp is a fan-favorite so players will have a great time finally having the Shiny version of this Pokemon. Good luck on June 6th.
