How To Prepare for Aipom Spotlight Hour in Pokemon Go

Aipom from the Pokemon animated series

Here are a few things players can do to prepare for Aipom Spotlight Hour.

  • Get A Star Piece: Players should pick up the bundle in the Poke Shop with the Star Pieces. This item will last 30 minutes and will double the amount of Stardust the player can earn. Combine this with the already added double Stardust for the event and players can earn x4. This is perfect for getting a ton of Stardust.
  • Shiny Aipom: Players might be lucky enough to encounter a Shiny Aipom out in the wild. It's incredibly rare but players can increase their chances of finding one by tapping on an Aipom on the map and running when it's not Shiny. Shiny Odds aren't very high but it's worth a shot.
  • Candy: For those looking to earn enough Aipom candy to evolve it into Ambipom, this is your chance. Players will still need a Sinnoh Stone which can be collected through PvP or Research Breakthrough.

Aipom is the final Spotlight Hour for the month of June. It's only a matter of time before the July lineup appears. Until then, continue to reap the rewards for a single hour every week.
