Mega Steelix is appearing in Mega Raid Battles in Pokémon Go. Bringing along the best Pokémon to counter it will make it much easier to win in battle. With Mega Evolution, trainers are able to temporarily give a handful of Pokémon incredibly boosted stats and a new design. Mega Evolutions will only last for eight hours but are amongst the strongest Pokémon in the game based solely on stats. Although trainers will have to grind for Mega Energy, the resource needed to Mega Evolve certain Pokémon. Those looking to Mega Evolve their Steelix will benefit from defeating one in battle.

With the recent changes to Mega Evolution in Pokémon Go, trainers only need to Mega Evolve a Pokémon once. before, the player would need to spend their Mega Energy each time to evolve the Pokémon for six hours. Although, harvesting Mega Energy took tons of time, making it a feature most players ignored. Now, the Pokémon will be able to Mega Evolve at any time, as long as the cooldown is finished. Even then, it's possible to use Mega Energy to make the process go by faster.
