Flabébé, Floette, and Florges can all be found and captured in Pokémon Go. This trio of Pokémon made their debut in the series back in Pokémon X and Y. It was also the generation where the Fairy-typing was added to the series, forever changing the meta-game. Fairy-types are special since they work best against Dragon-type Pokémon, a species of Pokémon that have been historically difficult to defeat. This family was added to Pokémon Go as part of its 2022 Valentine's Day event, making it easier than ever to find the flower Pokémon. It was a trainer's best bet to earn enough candy to evolve Flabébé into Florges.

For starters, there are five different types of Flababe for trainers to encounter in Pokémon GO. The type of flower the player finds will determine where the Flabébé is originally from. For example, Red Flower Flabébé can only be found in the Middle East, Africa, and Europe while the Yellow Flower Flabébé is exclusive to the Americas. It doesn't matter which flower version the trainer finds since they can all evolve to their final form. Although, trainers looking to capture all five colored variants of Flabébé will need to travel the world to find them all.

Evolving Flabébé into Floette isn't too difficult. All the trainer needs to do is use 25 Flabébé Candy for it to reach its second phase. Fortunately, there are a handful of different ways to get more candy. For starters, trainers can capture more Flabébé while using a Pinap Berry, as this item will double the amount of candy is earned after a successful capture. Alternatively, it's also possible to get more candy in Pokémon Go by setting Flabébé as the buddy Pokémon. These creatures will gather candy passively as the player is walking around their environment. The player will need as much candy as possible to change Floette into Florges.

How To Get Florges in Pokémon Go

After obtaining Floette, the trainer will need an additional 100 Flabébé candy while also having earned at least 20 Buddy Hearts. These are rewarded to trainers for feeding their Pokémon berries, traveling the new Poké Stops, battling with them, and overall just giving them attention. Using the Poffin item will also double the amount of hearts a Pokémon can earn for a full day. After earning 20 Buddy Hearts in Pokémon GO, the game will allow trainers to evolve their Floette into Florges. It's one of the few Fairy-types available in the game as more are being added through special events.

While the upcoming Pokémon Go Johto Tour will be focusing mainly on Pokémon that originate from the Johto region, it's an excellent chance for trainers to earn more Buddy Hearts with Floette. Just make sure to set it as the Buddy Pokémon before the event begins. They'll be so much happening at once in the game during the event those trainers won't notice all the passive candy Floette has collected. Those who are ambitious enough to collect all Flababe versions and evolve them all have their work cut out for them. The other flower forms will likely be released globally as part of a special event in Pokémon Go .
