How To Find (& Catch) Shiny Rainy Castform in Pokemon Go
Players will need to play the game from March 24th to March 29th to find a Shiny Rainy Castform. Fortunately, during this time, the spawn rate of this Pokemon will be greatly increased. To save on time, tap on a Rainy Castform on the overworld and if it's not shiny, run away. There is no real point in catching it unless you want that additional Stardust. Players can also use an Incense or Lure Module to increase the overall spawn rates of Pokemon. In the case of the Incense, during events, the Incense will focus primarily on spawning Pokemon that are only a part of the event. Players can tell when this happens if the Incense item is orange on the menu. Finding a Shiny is completely up to luck but keep looking for it and you should be able to find it.
The reason this is a big deal is that this is the first time ever a Shiny form of the Weather forms has ever existed for Castform. Before that, players were only able to get the original form of Castform Shiny. This marks the first time Pokemon Go has ever received a Shiny form before the mainline titles. This might be a new trend moving forward for the Pokemon series.
