December 2021 features its own set of active promo codes in Pokémon Go. These promo codes typically provide trainers with free items to help them on their adventures. The neat part about these items is that most of them are generally rare to find. This includes Lucky Eggs, Incenses, and Lure Modules normally found through completing Special Research Tasks. With promo codes, there's no extra work that's needed. The trainer will just need to claim the code before they expire. Although, the redemption process is a bit different depending on which platform the player is on.

Android players can immediately claim codes from within the game, while Apple owners will need to visit the Niantic Redemption Website. Just sign in and enter the codes below to claim them. The next time the game boots up, the items will be instantly available. The issue with promo codes is they expire fairly quickly. Niantic doesn't exactly advertise when they drop new promo codes, so it's possible for players to miss out on some of them.

The list of active promo codes for December 2021 will change every day. With only a few more days remaining in the year, many of these will likely be expired once January begins. So claim them as quickly as possible to collect these free items and don't miss out on these gifts during the Pokémon Go holiday event. These are all the active codes. Each one will have its expiration dates attached.

  • MBCK3M2H5PKR2: x1 Incense, x30 PokéBall, and x1 Lucky Egg.
  • 53HHNL3RTLXMPYFP: 1 Incense, 10 PokéBalls, 10 Pinap Berries (available until December 31, 2021).

The Galaxy A Series Avatar items were part of a promotional event happening with Samsung. It's common for Pokémon Go to host special events with big corporations and artists. For example, Pokémon Go held an Ed Sheeran event earlier this year. During this event, trainers were able to capture more Water-type Pokémon than usual since that is Ed Sheeran's favorite Pokémon-type. It even included the return of a special Squirtle variant where it wears sunglasses. In addition, with a promo code, trainers could claim a free Ed Sheeran sweater avatar item.

The best place to keep track of upcoming events is by looking at the News tab. Niantic typically releases new events several seeks before they happen. This is to help players prepare for them. Pokémon Go is an incredibly social event where players will need to cut out a decent chunk of their day to dedicate time to. The upcoming Johto Tour event might be the biggest the game has seen yet. These events typically have promo codes attached to them as well. Again, the News tab is the place to stay updated.
