Bidoof has been the center of attention lately in Pokemon Go. This guide will show players how they can complete the Special Research tasks and collect their rewards. Bidoof originates from Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, the 4th generation Pokemon titles in the series. Recently, Pokemon Go celebrated its Bidoof Breakout event. During this time, players were able to capture a ton of Bidoof and even had the chance to encounter its Shiny version. They concluded the Bidoof Breakout with the Bidoof Day event that spawned even more Bidoof and provided players with Special Research Tasks. Although, it might be challenging to complete it for players who did not participate in Bidoof Day. Here is every Special Research Task and Reward for BIDOOF.
Pokemon Go: BIDOOF Special Research Tasks (& Rewards)
The thing that makes this Special Research Task so important is that it has alternate paths for players to take. Depending on how the player decides will determine which event will come next. This guide will show players every possible path they can take along with the rewards they can collect.
- Stage 1: Use 3 Berries to help catch Pokemon (Bidoof encounter), Catch 6 Normal-type Pokemon (3 Pinap Berries), Catch 3 Bidoof (Bidoof encounter) Rewards: Bidoof encounter, 399 XP, and 399 Stardust.
- Stage 2A (Choose Bidoof): Catch 1 Normal-type Pokemon (Bidoof encounter), Take a Snapshot of Bidoof (3 Pinap Berries), Catch 5 Bidoof (Bidoof encounter) Rewards: Bidoof encounter, 399 XP, 399 Stardust.
- Stage 2B (Bidoof...?): Catch 1 Normal-type Pokemon (Bidoof encounter), Take a Snapshot of Bidoof (5 Razz Berries), Catch 5 Bidoofs (Bidoof encounter) Rewards: Bidoof encounter, 399 XP, 399 Stardust.
- Stage 3A (Nerves of Steel): Transfer 10 Pokemon (10 Super Potions), Take a Snapshot of Bidoof (Bidoof encounter), Catch 5 Bidoof (5 Razz Berries) Rewards: Bidoof encounter, 399 XP, 399 Stardust.
- Stage 3B (Nests near water): Transfer 10 Pokemon (10 Pokeballs), Take a Snapshot of Bidoof (Bidoof encounter), Catch 5 Bidoof (5 Pinap Berries) Rewards: Bidoof encounter, 399 XP, 399 Stardust.
- Stage 4: Catch 5 Bidoof, 10 Bidoof, 15 Bidoof (all provide Bidoof encounters) Rewards: Bidoof encounter, 3990 XP, and Bidoof Hat.
It will be a bit harder to complete this challenge now that the Bidoof Breakout is over. Regardless, it will remain until it is completed. Bidoof is still one of the most clutch Pokemon out there.
