Team Rocket Sierra has a brand new team in Pokémon Go for April 2022. Team Rocket has been readily available in Pokémon Go for a few years now as enemies for players to battle. Defeating them gives trainers the chance to capture a Shadow Pokémon, a creature with all the light and love snuffed out of it. There is currently an increased presence of Team Rocket in the game. Trainers looking to defeat Sierra will need to bring along the best counters to beat her.

In order to find Team Rocket Sierra in Pokémon Go, the player will need to create a Rocket Radar in Pokémon Go. This item will pinpoint the location of any of the three Team Rocket Admins and occasionally Giovanni. To obtain one, the player will need to collect six Rocket Radar shards from defeating grunts. It will eventually combine to create the Rocket Radar. Now, either Arlo, Cliff, or Sierra will appear at Poké Stops or inside the Team Rocket balloons. Just approach the area, interact, and the battle will begin.

Sierra will always begin the battle with a Drowzee, making this the Shadow Pokémon that players can capture. Although, her second and third Pokémon will be different with each attempt. Fortunately, the Rocket Radar does not break if the player fails to defeat Sierra in battle. Meaning, that trainers can retry until they get a successful attempt. These are the best Pokémon to counter Sierra in Pokémon Go.

The Rocket Radar will expire once the battle is over, with the player being victorious. Both Arlo and Cliff carry their own potential Shiny Pokémon as well.
