An amazing Pokémon cookbook, which contains recipes inspired by the franchise's various pocket monsters, is now available for pre-order. While it began with the release of a role-playing game in 1996, the monster collection franchise has since expanded to encompass a huge variety of media like anime, films and a trading card game. The recently-revealed Pokémon boots and handbags from Irregular Choice are certainly bombastic, and an outlandish Pokémon cookbook will even let fans bring the franchise into the kitchen.

The Pokémon franchise has gone through eight generations since its inception, with each new game introducing brand-new creatures, locations and characters to the beloved universe. The franchise always strives for cohesion, with the additional Pokémon introduced in each set of new games inevitably appearing in the anime series, the trading card game and spin-off video games like Pokémon GO. Merchandising has also turned Pokémon into a pop culture phenomenon, with The Pokémon Company producing products ranging from stuffed animals to clothing to electronics. Food crossovers like Pokémon Oreos let fans literally consume the multimedia juggernaut, but a brand-new release will help gamers cook their own creature concoctions.

As reported by Twitter user Wario64, My Pokémon Cookbook: Delicious Recipes Inspired By Pikachu and Friends is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The hardcover cookbook features over 45 recipes, and each one is inspired by a specific member of the ever-expanding Pokémon roster. Highlights include a spicy pasta sauce inspired by Charizard, a purple yogurt bowl based on Gengar and smoothies that reference Seaking and Shuckle. My Pokémon Cookbook is intended for chefs of all skill levels, with step-by-step instructions making each recipe easy to create. The colorful cookbook will officially release on October 25, 2022.

With a October 25 launch date, My Pokémon Cookbook should arrive just in time for the release of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. The next two games in the monster collection series will ring in Generation 9 by taking players to a new open-world setting and introducing a new slew of Pokémon. The Grass-type cat Sprigatito, the Fire-type crocodile Fuecoco and the Water-type duck Quaxly will serve as Pokémon Scarlet and Violet's three starter Pokémon, and they give a glimpse at the world of the games. Hints suggest that Gen 9's new region will be based on Spain, though little has been officially confirmed yet.

Pokémon has appeared in countless pieces of merchandise over the last two decades, but My Pokémon Cookbook stands out as particularly unique and charming. Each recipe seems to authentically reflect the pocket monster that inspired it, likely leading to a very varied selection of different creative cuisine. From hot Charizard pasta to Seaking smoothies, My Pokémon Cookbook will challenge Pokémon fans to eat 'em all.
