Players can evolve their Eevee into Leafeon in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. During the initial release of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, Eevee was given two new evolutions in the form of Leafeon and Glaceon. These were Grass and Ice-type counterparts to the rest of the Eevee collection. Players were able to evolve Eevee into Sylveon in future generations. As players return back to Sinnoh, they may want to add a Leafeon to their team, especially if they didn't pick Turtwig as their starter Pokémon.

To get an Eevee in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, players will need to head to Hearthome City. There will be a house next to the Pokémon Center with Bebe inside. At this point, players should have encountered Bebe. She will speak to the player for a bit before offering them a free Eevee. Players can then add the Eevee to their party or place it in their box. The Sinnoh region has a unique way to make Eevee evolve into Leafeon.

In order to evolve Eevee into Leafeon in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, players will need to go into Eterna Forest. When exploring, head to the top-left most section of the forest, and there will be a rock covered in grass. Interacting with it will read 'The rock is covered in moss. It feels pleasantly cool'. Now, players just need to level up their Eevee once in this location to get it to evolve into Leafeon. Players can either defeat wild Pokémon in the area or use a Rare Candy to instantly level up.

Obtaining Leafeon in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

Leafeon in the Pokémon anime

For players looking to get duplicates of Leafeon or are looking to collect the other Eevee evolutions, players can head over to Solaceon Town. Here, go to the Day Care Center and place two Pokémon inside. If they are compatible, the Day Care Owner will give players an Egg. After walking about 2500 steps, the egg will hatch into an Eevee. The player has the option to turn it into another Leafeon or one of its other forms. To save time, players can also find and catch a Ditto and breed with it for instant compatibility.

While this is a faithful remake of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, players are able to obtain every Eevee evolution except for Sylveon. This Pokémon made its debut back in Pokemon X and Y, an entry that was released after the original Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. While Fairy-types were added in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pearl, there is no way to obtain a Sylveon. Regardless, Leafeon and Glaceon can be powerful additions to a player's team.
