The Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl remakes include every best Attack Pokémon from the Sinnoh region that were present in the original games. The Attack stat refers to Pokémon moves that deal damage during a battle by making physical contact. These types of Pokémon rely heavily on their offensive abilities and complimentary stats like high Defense or Speed to win battles.

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl remain as faithful as possible to their original sources, Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. Some changes have been made to reflect necessary updates since the original games' release, such as the addition of Fairy-type Pokémon. Since BDSP are not compatible with Pokémon Homea service that allows players to transfer their Pokémon between different games, trainers will have to rely upon everything they catch at first. Therefore, it's important to establish a lead Attack Pokémon as soon as possible and train other strong ones for the end-game content.

Not every type of Pokémon has a strong attacker, but there are a variety of options for players to choose from and build their team around. Like the originals, Pokémon BDSP features eight different Gym Leaders that each uses different types of Pokémon, as well as the Elite Four and the Elite Four Champion. Each Gym Leader is significantly more powerful than the one who precedes them, and the Elite Four will prove to be an even greater challenge. One Attack Pokémon can't easily take on everyone by themselves, so it's important to have an established team of attackers with mixed-types long before the brutal postgame in Pokémon Diamond & Shining Pearl.

Pokémon Creative Team Addresses Angry Feedback From Fans

Below is a list of the best Attack Pokémon found in Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, along with their base Attack stat and their type. The base Attack stat refers to what a Pokémon's Attack stat would be if it were at level 100, with no battles and having a neutral Nature. The Nature of a Pokémon affects its base stats in either a positive, negative, or neutral way. For the best Attack Pokémon, trainers also want to find any of these types of Pokémon with an Adamant Nature. This will boost the given Pokémon's Attack stat while lowering their Special Attack, a positive trade-off considering most Attack Pokémon typically have lower Special Attack stats, to begin with.

Additionally, trainers can give them Pokémon Protein to boost their Attack stat and battle Pokémon like Machop to raise what's known as the Effort Value, or EV, points. Every four EV points raises a Pokémon's Attack stat by one point overall. As expected, none of these Attack Pokémon can be obtained early in-game, so trainers will have to make their way through quite a bit of BDSP before they can get their hands on the best of the best. It should be noted that there are Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl version exclusives in the National Pokédex not featured here and that these Pokémon are available before beating the game.
