There is a way to get more Master Balls in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. The Master Ball is a special Poké Ball-type with a 100% catch rate. Each Pokémon has its individual catch rate; for example, rarer Pokémon typically have a lower rate, making them more challenging to obtain. Using the Master Ball will always work, no matter what Pokémon is on the receiving end. In Pokémon BDSP, trainers will find the Master Ball deep within Galactic HQ. It's recommended for players to use the Master Ball on the rarest Pokémon that wander around the region. These creatures will flee after one turn, making them difficult and annoying to catch.

Fortunately, there are a few different ways for players to get more Master Balls in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. While the game only gives players a single Master Ball in the overworld, there are NPCs and exploits players can use to their advantage to duplicate them. Additionally, collecting more Master Balls in BDSP will make it easier for players to clear out all of Diamond and Pearl's Ramanas Park. Since this location is full of legendary Pokémon, their catch rates are incredibly low. These are the different ways for players to get more Master Balls in BDSP:

BDSP Master Balls: The Lottery

A Master Ball in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

Players can head to Jubilife City and enter the TV Station. Upon entering, walk toward the Lottery Corner, and the lady at the counter will read a lottery number. If the numbers line up directly with the player's Pokémon ID numbers, the trainer will be rewarded with a Master Ball. Check out the full prize chart below:

Hitting the lottery in Shining Pearl and Brilliant Diamond and getting a Master Ball is similar to hitting the lottery in the real world - incredibly unlikely, but possible.

To increase your chances of getting more Master Balls in Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, don't forget you can check the lottery every day!

BDSP Master Ball Cloning

There is an exploit in the game that allows players to clone Pokémon and items. With this, players can give one of their Pokémon BDSP's Master Ball as a Held Item. Once the glitch is done correctly, trainers will have two versions of the Pokémon, including two Master Balls. However, it is worth noting that this glitch can be removed from the game at any point. Check out the video above from easynow on YouTube for a great example of how players can get more Master Balls in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.

A handful of legendary Pokémon, like Cresselia and Mespirit, can be difficult to capture without a Master Ball in BDSP. It's because these two are wandering Pokémon that will run after a single turn. By using these two methods, players should be able to collect as many Master Balls they need to capture all the legendary Pokémon BDSP contains. It will take a while to clone enough Master Balls correctly, but it's already more than what Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl offers the player.
