A new way to quickly earn a large sum of money in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl has recently been discovered by a fan. Since the beginning of the series, players have always tried to figure out how to acquire Pokédollars efficiently. Every generation adds a lot of new Pokémon requiring a hefty amount just for Poké Balls. Other items, such as Max Potions and Full Restores, cost 2,500 and 3,000 Pokédollars respectively. Trainers in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl can secretly earn a tremendous amount, efficiently, by rechallenging a double battle, using the Vs Seeker.

This item was first introduced in Generation 3 and can be used to fight a trainer again. This method is incredibly effective for gaining extra experience and Pokédollars. Players are given the Vs Seeker after defeating Professor Rowan's assistant on Route 207. They also provide trainers with the Dowsing Machine as a reward. The assistant will play a game with the player, by having them choose which hand holds the items, but there is no wrong answer. The Vs Seeker can be used to rechallenge most trainers, but some are more effective than others.

Reddit user groovy_clock500 recently made a post about an Ace Trainer couple, that can be easily defeated for a large sum of money. This is more of an exploit, so it's not technically cheating for anyone concerned. They are located on a cliff on Route 210, after using Defog in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. The couple has a level 27 Raichu and a level 27 Gyarados, whose defeat rewards 13,392 Pokédollars. They can be challenged using the Vs Seeker, but the item takes 100 in-game steps to recharge. Utilizing the Pokétech Step Counter is great to limit time spent running around. Profit can be further increased by having a Pokémon hold an Amulet Coin.

Earning Millions Of Pokédollars On Route 210 in Pokémon BDSP

Pokémon BDSP Amulet Coin

The first step to earning money quickly is by acquiring the Amulet Coin. This held item doubles the amount gained at the end of a battle, as long as the Pokémon is sent out. The Amulet Coin is found hidden inside a house, located in Hearthome City's Amity Square. The second step requires that trainers have Pokémon with sufficient stats and moves to finish the double battle in one turn. For example, groovy_clock500 used a Gallade in Pokémon BDSP to quickly one-shot Gyarados with Thunderbolt, due to the Pokémon's four-times Electric weakness. Rhyhorn and Rhydon are effective for handling Raichu because they can't be hurt by Electric moves. They also learn the Ground-type move Drill Run, which has 80 base power, 95% accuracy, and a high chance to land critical hits. These two Pokémon can quickly win the double battle, earning 26,783 Pokédollars with the Amulet Coin.

Fans like groovy_clock500, are constantly searching for ways to use this method to gain money efficiently. The Amulet Coin was probably introduced, originally, as a way to earn some extra experience quickly. The added money reward is just a bonus to the process. The cost of items in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are expensive, and fans will do everything given to them in-game to earn as much as possible.
