Another Pokémon 25th anniversary music collaboration has released thanks to popstar Mabel and the new music video for her track "Take It Home." Mabel's collaboration is one of multiple songs that feature iconic Pokémon from the series in the franchise's milestone year as part of the upcoming Pokémon 25: The Album.

It's a good time to be a fan of the beloved Nintendo franchise. Pokémon kicked off its year-long birthday celebrations in early 2021, with Pokémon 25: The Album being just one of many announcements. As well as mainstream music, trainers have the release of new commemorative Pokémon trading cards to look forward to. As far as games go, remakes of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl are set to launch in November, while the summer months are packed with the Switch launch of Pokémon UNITE, a free-to-play MOBA, and numerous Pokémon GO events for mobile trainers. In early 2022, open-world Pokémon adventure Pokémon: Legends Arceus will also release.

Pop artist Mabel is the latest singing superstar to release a music video filled with Pokémon. "Take It Home" is the Mabel's latest song, with the video featuring iconic Gen I Pokémon Pikachu and Jigglypuff. Mabel and Jigglypuff are seen playing a game of hide-and-seek, and Pikachu settles down to watch Mabel and her dancers at the video's climax. Pokémon fans won't want to miss the incredibly adorable antics of the two pocket monsters, who can't seem to get enough of the catchy tune. The cute music video even includes Pikachu getting a playful "boop" on the nose from a Poké Ball.

Mabel's "Take It Home" is the latest song to be featured on the Pokémon 25th anniversary album, but she's not the only big name that's made it into the record. Earlier this year, Post Malone appeared for a virtual 25th anniversary concert, with an animated avatar of the star appearing in various Pokémon biomes. Post Malone also recorded an original cover of 1990's hit "I Only Wanna Be With You" from Hootie and the Blowfish as part of the Pokémon partnership. The song, along with Katy Perry's Pokémon-themed track "Electric" and Mabel's "Take It Home," will be available together when Pokémon 25: The Album releases later in 2021.

The upcoming Pokémon album isn't the only musical celebration trainers have to look forward to this year. Pokémon GO Fest 2021 will sport a musical theme, and Special Research tasks will assign players with helping Professor Willow organize a concert celebration of the game's fifth anniversary, choosing certain Pokémon to feature in the festivities with lots of rewards to reap. Pokémon GO Fest will also include special music from series music producer Junichi Masuda, created specifically for the event. Players can take part in Pokémon GO Fest 2021 on July 17 and 18, with Pokémon GO Fest tickets discounted to just $5 this year.
