Pokémon and crafts go hand-in-hand, with lots of creators using the Nintendo games as a basis for their artwork. With close to 900 pocket monsters in the Pokémon roster, there are countless options when it comes to cosplay, fanart, and crafts, making the franchise a popular choice for fan-made creations. Despite the huge number of Pokémon in the canon, Generation One starters Bulbasaur, Squirtle, and Charizard remain firm favorites when it comes to fan content, with the starter Pokémon being a popular choice for cosplay and crafts.

Redditor and Pokémon teacher PeekatmePikachu's tiny handcrafted Bulbasaurs are likely to be a hit with their students, giving them a memorable keepsake of their time with the tutor. The adorable Bulbasaur army of 100 is a transparent deep green, with fully sculpted bulbs on their backs and intricate face detailing. PeekatmePikachu explains in their post that the gifts are to recognize a particularly tough time for those they teach. The user said:

"[I'm] printing 100 mini Bulbasaurs for my students this year. It's been a rough few years for everyone but especially kids. I teach the pokemon elective at my school so they will be hyped."

The crafted Pokémon are a particularly charming gift due to the creator being the teacher of the school's Pokémon elective. Explaining what that involves in the comments of the Reddit post, the user reveals that their role is to teach kids how to play Pokémon, including how to build Pokémon TCG decks, and explaining the mathematics behind the game. According to the user, the elective is so popular at their school it's had to be split into two sections, and even has a waiting list.

Lots of video game, anime, and movie fans have been using 3D printing not only to create character figures, but also to make jewelry, weapon replicas, game cases, and more. Thanks to the flexibility of 3D printing, almost any creation or idea can be brought to life with enough patience and effort, no matter how complex the design. 3D printing is particularly useful for cosplayers, with even the most intricate armor from games like Skyrim able to be crafted in the real world.
