Poison Ivy Ladies and Nonbinaries of Doom Harley Quinn Animated DC Comics

Even before the Legion of Doom was destroyed by the Joker in Harley Quinn: The Animated Series’ continuity, Lex Luthor had been vying to get Ivy on the team for years. And now that Ivy is more powerful than ever, she has the chance to remake the Legion as she sees fit. Clearly she wasn’t impressed with the makeup of the previous organization, both in terms of power and representation. But now that she's in charge, Ivy has a chance to create a more powerful supervillain team.

Ivy’s potential lineup for the Ladies and Nonbinaries of Doom is quite the powerful roster. From Wonder Woman’s nemesis Giganta to the magical Titans' villain Jinx, Ivy’s selected a good balance of abilities in her possible team’s makeup. Not only is Ivy building a better Legion in terms of power, she’s also lifting villains who haven’t gotten a chance to shine in the Legion before like Livewire and Porcelain. Her choice to build a team around women and nonbinary villains is a welcome and modern change from the usual choices of Sinestro and Joker. Who knows what’s next for Poison Ivy’s new team, but she’s certain to leave her mark in Harley Quinn: The Animated Series’ canon.
