Pretty Little Liars: Where Are They Now?

Pretty Little Liars was the kind of success that has launched careers - so what have the stars been up to since the end?

The series finale of Pretty Little Liars in 2017 may have been the last time fans saw many of the characters, but thankfully, Alison and Mona are alive and well on the spin-off The Perfectionists. As for the other cast members? Fans can follow along with them on social media and with some of their latest acting projects.

In the years since the show has ended, the cast members have been up to some really cool things. Where are the actors and actresses now? Let's take a look at their post-PLL credits and also the personal successes they have had.

10 Sasha Pieterse

Sasha Pieterse's most famous part has definitely been starring as Alison DiLaurentis on Pretty Little Liars. Ali is the Queen Bee who we find out has disappeared before the pilot, and while the other girls have super complicated emotions about her, she's still a crucial part of their friend group.

Sasha Pieterse was on Dancing With the Stars in 2017, and she was also in the 2017 film Coin Heist and the 2018 film The Honor List. These days, she's in the middle of a brand new mystery on the PLL spin-off The Perfectionists. She also got married to Hudson Sheaffer in May 2018.

9 Janel Parrish

Janel Parrish's Pretty Little Liars character, Mona Vanderwaal, is both friend and enemy to the other girls... depending on the season (and sometimes even on the episode). She's an integral part of the show.

In September 2018, Janel Parrish had a beautiful wedding in Hawaii. She also had a role in the hit Netflix romantic comedy that was released last summer, To All The Boys I've Loved Before. She played the main character Lara Jean's older sis, Margot.

More recently, Janel Parrish stars with Sasha Pieterse on The Perfectionists. It's really great to see them together.

8 Ian Harding

Ian Harding is loved for playing Aria's one true love Ezra Fitz (also her teacher). He loves books and writing and even gets involved with the mystery on the show, too.

In 2019, Ian Harding has been in five episodes of Chicago Med playing the character Phillip Davis. He was also in the 2018 movie Office Uprising and the 2018 short film Are You Still Singing?. But it's safe to say that Ezra has been his most popular role.

The 32-year-old actor has 4.9 million followers on Instagram, and his account is great for fans to follow since he posts selfies along with cool nature photos.

7 Keegan Allen

Keegan Allen's Pretty Little Liars character, Toby Cavanaughis a sweetheart who loves Spencer Hastings more than anything. Fans definitely ship these two throughout the series. Even when it seems like Toby is a member of the A team, he's still so cute that fans love him.

Keegan Allen is easy to love, too: he's a talented photographer and has released two books: Hollywood: Photos and Stories from Foreverland (2018) and (2015). As for acting credits, his most popular character is definitely Toby and he hasn't racked up a ton of TV or film credits since then. The 29-year-old actor plays Jimmy Haddox in the upcoming film Bukowski.

6 Laura Leighton

Before she played Hanna Marin's mother, Ashley, on Pretty Little Liars, Laura Leighton was famous for playing Sydney Andrews on Melrose Place. In the early days of PLL, Hanna and Ashley are in many scenes together, navigating various mysteries.

Since PLL said goodbye in 2017, Laura was on the TV show Code Black in 2018, and she starred in the 2018 TV film Christmas on Honeysuckle Lane. The actress has been married to actor Doug Savant since 1998. In fact, Doug played Matt Fielding on Melrose Place, so they were on that campy and amazing series together. The couple has two kids: 13-year-old daughter Lucy and 18-year-old son Jack.

5 Tyler Blackburn

Pretty Litte Liars Lucas and Caleb

Like many of the other actors on this list, Tyler Blackburn is most famous for his portrayal of his PLL character. He is perfect as Caleb Rivers, Hanna's boyfriend and the kid at school who is always super mysterious. He also got his own spin-offRavenswood, which didn't last too long.

More recently, Tyler stars as Alex Manes on Roswell: New Mexico, and he was also in an episode of the Charmed reboot.

Fans of Tyler (and Caleb) will want to check out his Instagram profile. He has 7.2 million followers (which is not too shabby) and he keeps his page up to date with many cool selfies and photos.

4 Troian Bellisario

Troian Bellisario's PLL character, Spencer Hastings, is one of the core characters on the series who gets wrapped up in the strange things happening in Rosewood. Spencer's perfectionist personality means that she takes everything and everyone around her very seriously, and Troian is unforgettable in the role.

Troian married Suits star Patrick J. Adams in 2016, and the two have a baby girl who was born in October 2018. Troian has also been busy with many different creative projects. She starred in the 2018 film Clara and wrote, directed, and starred in the movie Feed, which came out in 2017 and was more personal as she struggled with an eating disorder in the past.

3 Ashley Benson

Fans couldn't possibly picture Pretty Little Liars without the four main actresses, including Ashley Benson. She's great as Hanna Marin, the fashion-obsessed high school girl who may roll her eyes on a frequent basis but who is sweet as sugar once you get to know her better.

Besides playing Hanna, Ashley starred in the 2012 film Spring Breakers. She hasn't done a ton of acting since PLL ended, but she did star in the 2018 movie Her Smell, which also stars Cara Delevigne and Elizabeth Moss.

Ashley Benson is also in a relationship with Cara Delevigne and it seems that they have been together since 2018.

2 Lucy Hale

Pretty Little Liars Aria Ravenswood

Aria Montgomery is a lot artsier than the other girls on Pretty Little Liars, and she's an adorable character who is intelligent and romantic. Her relationship with Ezra and her friendships with the other girls is one reason why the show is so popular.

Lucy Hale has racked up some starring roles on TV shows since the teen mystery series ended.

Most recently, Lucy Hale starred in the 2018 show Life Sentence which was unfortunately canceled after one season. She won the role of Katy Keene in the TV show of the same name, which is a spin-off of Riverdale.

1 Shay Mitchell

Shay Mitchell is beloved for portraying Emily Fields on Pretty Little Liars. She's athletic and practical and very compassionate. Shay is particularly awesome at showcasing many emotions, and she did that with great success on the show.

The 32-year-old actress has seen a lost of success post-PLL. She won the role of Peach on You and does an amazing job playing that wild character who seems just as unhinged as the main character Joe does. She has many TV shows coming up, including The Heiresses (also by PLL showrunner I. Marlene King) and Dollface, which means that fans will have many opportunities to watch this talented actress.
