A post on the PlayStation Blog has revealed the long list of games featured in PlayStation Store's Black Friday 2021 sale, which begins on Friday, November 19. With Thanksgiving Day right around the corner, a wide variety of retailers have already unleashed details about in-store and online Black Friday deals. For example, Walmart's Black Friday ad notes that a restock on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles will go live on November 22 while supplies last. The likes of Best Buy and Target similarly shared discounted pricing details about their upcoming game-related sales.

Despite the numerous delays, this year in gaming has been nothing short of busy and packed with new releases from must-play indies to time-consuming AAA adventures. Things picked up in the back half of the year, with October proving an especially busy month in terms of brand-new titles. FIFA 22Metroid Dread, Far Cry 6, Back 4 Blood, and Crysis' remastered collection all hit stores within a span of two weeks or so. The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes, Solar Ash, and Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy rounded out the month. And, again, that's just October. Needless to say, players will want to keep a close eye out for Black Friday deals in the days ahead. Fortunately, the PlayStation Store will mark down prices on some of 2021's most notable releases.

Again, pricing information on these deals won't surface until the sale itself goes live tomorrow. The same holds true for Black Friday 2021 discounts on Sony's PS Plus and PS Now services. It's also worth noting the PlayStation Gear Store will host a sale of its own, offering a 20 percent off apparel, collectibles, and other items for those who use the BLACKFRIDAY20 code at checkout.

This upcoming batch of PlayStation Store offers is the latest in a long line of sales the digital storefront has hosted throughout the year. Spring sales, summer deals, and Halloween discounts count among a few of the sales events the store launched in 2021. Black Friday won't be the last, either. Per usual, PlayStation is bound to announce holiday discounts in December.
