This article covers a developing story. Continue to check back with us as we will be adding more information as it becomes available.

February is slated to be filled with an interesting smattering of new games for PlayStation Plus subscribers in a variety of genres. As usual, each of the three tiers will receive a selection of titles based upon which level they subscribe to. However, even with the lowest subscription tier, PS+ Essential, players will be treated to titles spanning everything from horror to skateboarding games.

February is shaping up to arguably be a more diverse month for PlayStation Plus games than January was, at least in terms of the Essential subscription, which slanted towards sci-fi the precious month. That being said, the higher tiers did get more variety last month, with titles like the musical Sayonara Wild Hearts and FMV mystery game Erica dotting the list as well. Regardless of which subscription players have, every PlayStation Plus user will likely have something new to check out this month.

The official PlayStation Twitter account has revealed the PS+ games for February 2023's Essential tier. Starting February 7 through March 6, PlayStation Plus subscribers will receive three full games as well as one DLC: skateboarding game OlliOlli World, criminal underwold-centered action game Mafia: Definitive Edition, the famous-actor-filled Evil Dead: The Game, and the Beyond Light expansion for online FPS Destiny 2. The expected update to the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium catalogs has yet to be announced, though the table below will be updated to include those additions once they've been revealed.

February Offers Players A Strong Variety

February's new offerings do, of course, mean that those made free during the month of January - Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Fallout 76, and Axiom Verge 2 - will be removed from the service soon on February 6. February is shaping up to be a time full of variety for PlayStation Plus subscribers. From the light-hearted, trick-filled fun of OlliOlli World to the dramatic plotlines of Mafia: Definitive Edition, this month's selections really run the gamut of different game styles.

For Destiny 2 fans, Beyond Light offers exotic weapons and new missions to expand play - although sadly those who don't own the base game won't be able to enjoy this addition. However, even without Beyond Light coming to everyone, February will be quite the worthwhile month for any tier of subscriber. With this many games to choose from, PlayStation Plus subscribers should have no problem finding ways to pass the time during the shortest month of the year.
