The beta test for Final Fantasy 14 on PlayStation 5 has just released. Players who are subscribed to the PlayStation 4 version of the game can take part in the beta. This also includes those on the expanded free trial allowing access into the Heavensward expansion. While the game upgrade isn’t out in full, players can start earning Trophies exclusive to the PlayStation 5 version.

Like most Trophy Lists, the descriptions provided by PlayStation Network leave the objectives a bit vague (or outright hidden) in order to help avoid spoilers. For those seeking the coveted Platinum, they will need to take on some out of the way tasks like Adventuring Squadrons, Savage tier raiding, and lots of item crafting.

Platinum Required Trophies in Final Fantasy 14

PlayStation 5 brings faster load times to Final Fantasy 14

The PlayStation 5 release bundles together the base game with three expansions, and considers them all one single product. That means that players will need to complete large sections of Heavensward, Stormblood, and Shadowbringers to earn the Platinum Trophy. Players that have already met Trophy objectives on PC or PlayStation 4 (or even PlayStation 3) can retrigger them by completing a portion of a task (like crafting a single item, clearing one dungeon, etc).
