Once this is done, the user can open up their Spotify app and enjoy their DualSense’s haptic feedback buzzing along with their music just as it does while playing Returnal or Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
Aside from enhancing the music-listening experience, the DualSense has already gained a healthy presence on PC thanks to support from platforms like Steam. The controller can also be used as a microphone, eliminating the need to buy overpriced equipment in this current age of web calls and hardware shortages. Meanwhile, Spotify sits at the top of music streaming services and has even been used as a bonus for Xbox Game Pass subscribers in the past.
The PlayStation 5’s DualSense controller is already a marvel of engineering and functionality thanks to its haptic feedback, and its newfound use as a way of enhancing music on Spotify is just another neat wrinkle to the controller.
