While not apart of the original Avatar: The Last Air bender story, Korra has also made her way into Smite as one of the Avatar bundle skins. Korra from Avatar: The Legend of Korra is born some 70-80 years in the future concluding the events of Aang and his friends. Korra and her adventures are on their way to Netflix as well, as a way of building suspense and expectations for what's new to come in the Avatar franchise. Snippets of news and speculation of the soon-to-be Netflix Adaption are popping up left and right, and hopefully Smite won't be the last of partnerships to participate. This guide will show players how to obtain and use their character skin.

Korra is the next incarnation in the Avatar Cycle, hailing from the southern water tribe. Avatar Aang's journey began within the land of the southern water tribe making the irony hit that much harder. Korra was somewhat of a child prodigy learning 3 of the 4 elements without any prior instruction from a very early age. After receiving guidance under strict surveillance Korra made her way to Republic City, where she would truly see just how much the world has changed and why Aang's son Tenzin was so worried about both her and the world not being ready for each other. With such rapid transformation, the world is in flux, where the old ways of thinking and living intermingle with new ideas, lifestyles, and order to the point of chaos. Korra fights for her friends, family, and her life in more ways than one while trying to find new meaning for being the Avatar in a world that doesn't really want one. Her stubbornness often gets the best of her, by an innate desire to face things head-on in a single-minded fashion.  Korra goes through a staggering amount of hardship that in some way, eclipses Aang's struggles as a whole.

How to Play as Korra in Smite

Smite Avatar Korra Skins

In order for players to get their hands on Korra's skin, they must own the season premium pass. Players are given the opportunity to Practice with the characters even if they don't own the season pass so that's a major plus. Korra has two variants just like Aang and Zuko, and the moves are all the same as well between both types. The second skin is unlocked within the prestige half of the Season pass at level 40 while the original can be obtained at level 20 in the first half of the premium pass.

Korra is based on the character Skadi and her move-set reflect the originals very closely aside from the element changes. Skadi is a Hunter and excels at crowd control, which in some way is a lot like Korra's pro-bending skills and her ability to fend off multiple opponents at once. Unlike Aang, Korra does not have the ability to swap between elements but instead incorporates them into each technique uniquely, with water bending as her primary method of attacking. Her strongest ability utilizes a combination of earth and air bending to devastate enemies around both her and Naga. Naga, much like Skadi's pet wolf, has the ability to attack and eliminate weakened opponents. Naga can take up to only 5 hits, so using her when the enemy is weak and finishing them off is the best way to make the most of her bonuses. At the highest level, Naga can heal herself and buff Korra but most of these effects only work when Naga lands the finishing blow.
