Yoto Hime is the brutally offensive Hero in Naraka: Bladepointperfect for those who want to learn how to play as a character who limits mobility in exchange for power. Yoto Hime's abilities utilize her demonic blade to grant buffs to herself and deal massive damage to her opponents. The more enemies she defeats, the more dangerous she becomes. Yoto Hime may be a bit advanced for those getting started in Naraka: Bladepointbut she's well worth the time to learn.

Yoto Hime's abilities are called Spirit Slash and Ominous Blade. Spirit Slash launches a spinning blade that can block incoming non-explosive projectiles and hangs in the air spinning for a short time after it reaches its furthest thrown point. Yoto Hime can teleport to her blade as well, and launch an additional strike. Defeating enemies resets the cooldown of Spirit Slash, up to six times in a 30 second period.

Ominous Blade summons a gigantic blade that strikes three times automatically while in the hands of Yoto Hime. She can throw the sword after each strike and teleport it to change the direction of the attack. Yoto Hime makes use of all defeated characters in Naraka: Bladepoint by using the Ominous Blade to absorb nearby Cairns and increase its attack.

Naraka: Bladepoint - How to Play as Yoto Hime

NARAKA: BLADEPOINT Preview

Like all Heroes in Naraka: Bladepoint, Yoto Hime's ability variations can be unlocked by completing her Cultivation quests. Spirit Slash can be altered to Spirit Slash: Crush and Spirit Slash: Vortex. Crush allows Yoto Hime's summoned blade to hang in the air for an extended time,  and it can be recalled to her for an additional slash. Additionally, Crush removes the cooldown buff of default Spirit Slash. Vortex slows the thrown blade once it deals damage to opponents. In addition, Vortex can block melee attacks, but Yoto Hime no longer receives a slash.

Unlike Spirit Slash, no versions of Ominous Blade can block ranged weapons in Naraka: BladepointThe alternate variations of Ominous Blade are Ominous Blade: Restore and Ominous Blade: Combo. Restore keeps all the same traits as the default Ominous Blade, but instead of absorbing Cairns to increase attack, absorbing Cairns replenishes Yoto Hime's health and armor. Contrarily, Combo removes the buffs altogether. Instead, three strikes can be launched with a small version of Ominous Blade for additional attacks.

The best ability combination for Yoto Hime in Naraka: Bladepoint is her default Spirt Slash and Ominous Blade: Restore. There isn't always the option to heal in the middle of a fight. Ominous Blade: Restore reduces Yoto Hime's need to cease attacking in order to heal, keeping her on the offensive as her enemy attempts to heal, flee, or repair their weapons. Finally, default Spirit Slash's ability to fully cool down upon defeating an enemy gives Yoto Hime a step up on most Heroes, with the exception of Viper Nang and her ability to briefly prevent other characters from using their abilities. Even so, Yoto Hime's ability to teleport to an enemy with Spirit Slash allows her to keep on the offensive when it counts.
