Once players encounter Camilla in the Colony 9 Commissary shop, she will ask them to find Pillowshroom, Death Mushroom, and Popper Pumpkin in Xenoblade Chronicles 3, the newest entry in the series released for the Nintendo Switch. Once players speak with Camilla, they will be able to see her request under the Collectopaedia Cards quest list for Colony 9.

Collectopaedia Cards in Xenoblade Chronicles 3 are fetch quests that send players looking for different items scattered about the wild or on hunts to kill a specific enemy. To get a Collectopaedia Card, players need to talk to people with dialogue markers; once obtained, look at the Quests tab in the Menu to see all of the open Collectopaedia Card Quests, a fun feature of Xenoblade Chronicles 3.

The Collectopaedia Card quest for Camilla in the Colony 9 Commissary shop requires players to find Pillowshroom, Death Mushroom, and Popper Pumpkin. All of these items can be found throughout the Aetia Region. Once players collect the required items, they can fulfill the quest by looking at the Collectopaedia Card and registering the items. Players can complete Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Collectopaedia Card quests as many times as they want to earn experience, gold, SP or Affinity, but with each successive completion, players will earn fewer rewards.

How to Find Pillowshroom, Death Mushroom, and Popper Pumpkin in Xenoblade Chronicles 3

Pillowshrooms can be found throughout the Alfeto Valley in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. They appear more frequently at the eastern entrance to the Valley. When players approach the Pillowshrooms, they will turn into a red-capped mushroom, so players will not be able to tell them apart from other mushrooms.

Death Mushrooms can be found relatively early in the game in the Everblight Plain in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. Look for the large rocks there, and players may find a Death Mushroom nearby. Death Mushrooms are also found near the first Soldier Husk once players discovered Noah's mechanic. The mushroom will be in an alcove to the east. When players approach Death Mushrooms, their icon will be a red-capped mushroom, much like the Pillowshrooms.

The third and final collectible to finish Camilla's Collectopaedia Card quest is the Popper Pumpkin, which can be found in the south and southwest of Colony 9. Players should keep an eye out for an icon that looks like a white carrot; unlike the mushrooms, players can pick up a variety of items from these icons. Popper Pumpkin is one of them, so there is a fair amount of RNG involved. Continue looking for the white carrot icons in the south, and eventually players will find the Popper Pumpkin. There are rewards for completing quests in Xenoblade Chronicles 3, and when players register all three items to finish the Collectopaedia Card quest for the first time, they will receive Affinity, experience, and Apprentice Vambraces.
