Planting 500 flowers in Pikmin Bloom will take players between 20 and 40 minutes to complete on average. However, players can increase this payout by increasing their total Pikmin count. The more Pikmin the player has in their squad, the more Coins players are able to earn within a shorter period of time. Players should prioritize growing Red, Yellow, and Blue Pikmin first. This is because they require the least amount of steps to fully grow, only needing 1000 each to reach their walking forms. Other Pikmin, like Purple and Pink, are nice but require more steps and take longer to hatch. Growing more Pikmin is also helpful for collecting Pikmin Bloom expedition rewards.
Planting flowers with every walk is a great way to earn more Coins passively in Pikmin Bloom. The most expensive item in the shop at the time of writing is the Bloom Pack, worth 1480 coins. It rewards players with 200 Blue Tulip Petals, 200 Yellow Tulip Petals, 15 Special Slots, 12 Special Nectar, 200 Red Tulip Petals, and 10 scans with the Detector item. Players can save up to unlock this item once they have planted enough flowers.
