Fast Charlie is based on Victor Gischler's crime novel Gun Monkeys. The team behind the project say it's "a killer film about an especially likable killer." According to the synopsis, Brosnan's Charlie has worked for his aging mob boss Stan for 20 years as an "efficient hitman." Faced with threats from a rival boss, however, he fails in his mission to eliminate them. Now, Charlie is on a mission to avenge those he's lost. With action veteran Brosnan at the helm, the upcoming thriller is unlikely to disappoint.
