The characters from Star Trek: Picard captivated us from the very first moment. Admittedly, it didn't hurt that the series revolved a franchise favorite: Jean-Luc Picard. So today, let's take a moment to talk about those characters a little bit more.

Specifically, let's just go ahead and sort them into their Hogwarts Houses. It's an age-old tradition, after all. While not all of the characters in this series fit perfectly into any single house, it's shocking how many of them fit the core characteristics. Without further adieu, here is our list of the main characters in Picard, and which house they would end up in.

Jean-Luc Picard: Ravenclaw

Deciding what house Picard belongs in feels almost obvious, doesn't it? Picard is obviously a Ravenclaw, with his thirst for knowledge and exploring the unknown. While he does have traits from the other houses (such as Hufflepuff's loyalty), we feel that his strongest fit is and always will be Ravenclaw.

Jean-Luc Picard is a brilliant character, one who values knowledge – these traits have earned him a spot in Ravenclaw, of this we have no doubt.

Agnes Jurati: Ravenclaw

Star Trek Picard Agnes Jurati finale

While we're talking about Ravenclaws, let's talk about Agnes Jurati. She is a conflicted character throughout most of the season, but we still have little doubt about which house she belongs in. Here's a hint: it's Ravenclaw.

Knowledge and understanding have ruled Agnes's life. First, with her desperation to know more about synths and the entire process. Then, she was tortured by what she was shown but could not process. What a Ravenclaw emotion to have to endure, don't you think? To be tortured by the very knowledge you seek.

Dahj & Soji Asha: Hufflepuff

Dahj and Soji are twins, and not at all the same people. However, we didn't get much of an opportunity to get to know Dahj, so we just have to assume that she had many traits in common with her sister.

Soji could have fit into several different houses. The real problem is that we actually don't know as much about her as we'd like, thanks to all of the turmoil she was thrown into this season. Given what we have seen, we have to assume that Hufflepuff is her best fit. After all, her bonds made all the difference in her life.

Elnor: Gryffindor

Star Trek Picard Elnor

Did anybody have any doubt of where Elnor belonged? He's a Gryffindor through and through, showing off some of the best traits that the house has to offer. He's brave and daring, and fully willing to throw his life away if it means saving the lives of others.

If those are not the embodiment of Gryffindor traits, then we're not entirely sure what is. He's stoic and strong, while still feeling very strongly about everything. Once again, all of these traits settle him firmly into one house.

Raffi Musiker: Ravenclaw

Raffi Musiker from Star Trek Picard

There's yet another Ravenclaw to be found in the cast of Picard, and that is Raffi Musiker. Raffi is the queen of information. She basically uses every resource possible to get the information she needs. She also has this thirst to find out more, all of which certainly puts her into the Ravenclaw house.

Admittedly, Raffi does have some Slytherin traits worth noting. Mainly in regards to how she gathers and uses the information. She has a way of getting people to do what she wants, even if it burns bridges in the process.

Chris Rios: Gryffindor

Star Trek Picard Rios Finale

Chris Rios is a harder character to pin down (especially if you take all of his holograms into account), but if you look at the big picture, Rios is most likely a Gryffindor at heart. He's bold and brave – and very vocal about his opinions.

He's also loyal to the end, and would literally do anything for the Captains he has handed his loyalty over to. Perhaps that is a bit more of a Hufflepuff trait, but the driving force behind this loyalty feels very much in line with a Gryffindor.

Narek: Slytherin

Before you ask yourself this: no, we did not assign Narek into Slytherin because he's a bad guy. It just happened to work out that way. Narek's traits actually line up quite nicely with that of Slytherin, and thus we have no doubt where he belongs.

Narek is ambitious and determined, and it's clear that he's also resourceful and clever. Just look at how he got that vital information out of Soji. No other house could have handled things in such a way.

Zhaban: Hufflepuff

Zhaban is one of two Romulans living with Picard following his retirement. He's also another Hufflepuff on this list. This is a man content to act as a butler to Picard, all because of everything that Picard had done (and tried to do) for the Romulans.

That feels like such a Hufflepuff way of showing affection and loyalty, don't you think? The truth of the matter is, Zhaban is and was deeply loyal to Picard.

Laris: Hufflepuff

Laris on Star Trek Picard

Speaking of loyal Hufflepuffs, let's talk about Laris. She's the embodiment of a Hufflepuff for many reasons. In a way, she sort of became Picard's caretaker – being the one to tell him the things he didn't want to hear, and just generally looking out for him.

There's also no doubt of her loyalty to Picard. Furthermore, she's endlessly patient and unafraid of hard work.

Narissa: Slytherin

Star Trek Picard Narissa

Once again, we promise that we didn't stick Narissa into Slytherin just because she's a bad just. We did it because of her dominant traits – because seriously, they are a perfect example of the darker side of potential that comes with being a Slytherin.

She's cunning and resourceful, that much is obvious right from the start. Those traits are the ones that shine the brightest, as does her determination and ambition. All of which makes her a Slytherin through and through.
