Stars of The Bachelor Peter Weber and Kelley Flanagan are getting more serious. Here’s what we know about their plans for the future.

Former Bachelor Peter Weber appears to have moved on from all the drama of last season and is now taking things to the next level with former contestant, Kelley Flanagan. Weber caused quite a mess of things during his time on the reality TV dating show. The pilot’s inability to make up his mind between his two finalists, Hannah Ann Sluss and Madison Prewett, left fans (and his overly-expressive mother, Barb) wondering if he would ever find love. In the end, it looks like Pilot Pete found his co-pilot. He reconnected with Flanagan a few months ago, and even though he sent her home during their time on The Bachelor for not taking the process seriously enough for him, the pair are now on the same page.

In a recent interview with ET, Peter Weber and Kelley Flanagan sat down with the well-known entertainer reporter Lauren Zima to talk about how they rekindled their relationship post-filming. They also discussed what the future holds for their romance. Flanagan was very honest about how Weber came back into her life, telling Zima that Weber reached out after hearing about her father’s recent chemotherapy treatment for cancer. At first, she turned down Weber’s company. Later, however, Flanagan recalls telling herself, “You know what? I gotta stop caring about that so much." She replied to Weber’s request to meet, saying, "Yes, please come out ... come see me."

From there, things sped up fast and the two have been sharing their rekindled romance on social media nonstop. From their quarantine routine on TikTok to their recent Fourth of July pool pictures, the couple has been falling for each other more and more every day. Flanagan says they were able to sit down and talk through everything right away. She said, “It makes a lot more sense if you're on our end than the public's." Weber also added that he has "grown a lot” since the show and that he truly believes Flanagan is the perfect person for him. “I feel so blessed to have this worked out," he said. Weber then went on to gush about how he told Flanagan he loved her for the first time. He jokes that he gave her a gumball ring, but Neil Lane wasn’t present for that occasion. The couple also talked about moving from Chicago to New York together in the late summer or early fall. Weber said that he’s “super excited to take this next step with Kell and move to New York to see what adventures await." Since Weber and Flanagan are now getting a glimpse into remote work due to the pandemic, they don’t imagine the relocation will be difficult.

It looks like this Bachelor couple could be the next success story from the series. We'll just have to wait and see how their new move to the Big Apple pans out. Until then, we’ll be relying on Chris Harrison to give us constant updates on their relationship status.
