Meet the furry and not-so-furry cast and characters of Peter Rabbit 2. Beatrix Potter's Peter Rabbit stories have been enthralling children for over a century, during which time the titular bunny has ventured into animation, stage productions, and even modern literary adventures written by Emma Thompson. For most of his life, however, Peter Rabbit shied away from the bright lights of Hollywood. Beatrix Potter refused to sign her creation over to Disney in the 1930s, and it wasn't until the 2010s that interest resurfaced in giving Peter the big screen treatment. Released in 2018, Peter Rabbit was directed by Will Gluck to box office success, although critical reaction was far more mixed.

Still, this hasn't stopped Peter Rabbit 2 bouncing into theaters, following a delay of over a year due to COVID-19. Perhaps Peter Rabbit's most impressive feat is the star-studded cast, with various A-listers from film and TV lending their voices to Beatrix Potter's colorful collection of farmyard animals - a testament to Peter Rabbit's enduring reputation. Here's where you might recognize the voices, and what the main characters look like in real life.

James Corden as Peter Rabbit

James Corden as Peter Rabbit

Peter Rabbit 2's lead role goes, once again, to James Corden. The film's characterization of Peter Rabbit was criticized in 2018, accused of turning the creature's playful naughtiness into something rather more unlikable. Peter Rabbit 2 addresses that allegation in somewhat meta fashion. James Corden made his name in British sitcom Gavin & Stacey, but is now known better as a late night talk show host.

Margot Robbie as Flopsy Rabbit

Also reprising her role from the original Peter Rabbit movie is Margot Robbie. Known for playing Harley Quinn in the DCEU, Robbie is set to lead a future reboot of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. Robbie voices Flopsy Rabbit, Peter's more innocent sister who usually finds herself tagging along on the same farmyard hi-jinks. As before, Peter Rabbit 2 makes the most of Margot Robbie's presence by having her narrate the movie also.

Elizabeth Debicki as Mopsy Rabbit

Elizabeth Debicki as Mopsy

Another member of the Rabbit clan born to Josephine, Mopsy is the sister of Peter and the eldest of the female triplets. Fans might recognize Mopsy's voice as Elizabeth Debicki, whose breakout role came opposite Tom Hiddleston in The Night Manager. Debicki has since appeared as Kat in Tenet, and will play The Crown's older Princess Diana.

Aimee Horne as Cotton-Tail Rabbit

Amy Horne as Cotton-Tail Rabbit

Unlike most of her Peter Rabbit 2 cast members, Aimee Horne is a newcomer to the McGregor farm - although her character isn't. In the first Peter Rabbit, Cotton-Tail was voiced by Daisy Ridley, who is the only member of the main cast not to return. The youngest of the siblings, Cotton-Tail is more unhinged compared to Peter, Flopsy and Mopsy.
