Fans of The Kardashians have some big opinions on the leaked texts between Pete Davidson and Kanye West. Kim Kardashian’s ex-husband and boyfriend have been feuding for months in the press. However, until now, it’s been super one-sided. Pete has primarily refrained from responding to Kanye’s public commentary on social media. Only when Kanye released private texts between the men did Pete’s perspective become obvious.

In the messages, Pete introduced himself as “Skete” and emphasized his belief in Kim as an amazing mother. When Kanye asked where he was, Pete answered, “In bed with your wife.” He asked Kanye to calm down with the media antics, adding, “I’ve decided I’m not gonna let you treat us this way anymore and I’m done being quiet. Grow the **** up.” Pete went on to call Kanye’s behavior dangerous and make clear that he didn’t want to be enemies. Pete said he prevented Saturday Night Live and other comedians from roasting Kanye and said he understood what it was like to deal with mental health issues. Finally, Pete asked Kanye to meet him privately, but Kanye preferred a public meeting at Sunday Service. Kanye then posted a video reacting to the texts with a prayer that his children came to Sunday Service and cited that Tory Lanez was the one who recommended that he pray.

Fans on Twitter had a host of takes on the messages. Nothing seemed particularly shocking as it’s unsurprising Pete was full of both compassion and a need to be a little sassy after the onslaught of attacks, including his metaphorical decapitation. At the same time, others defended Kanye's response, saying he just wants to reunite his family. Kanye's supporters also noted the rumors that Pete sent Mac Miller intimate images with Ariana Grande. Many were appalled that Kanye cited Tory as one of his supporters after Tory’s reputation as a musician was overshadowed by shooting Megan Thee Stallion.

Fans Unshocked By Kanye's Connection With Tory Lanez

There are infinite sides to every story. As time progresses, it looks like Kanye, and now Pete, will make sure the public sees every side of this one. While some rumors about Pete can't be substantiated, Kanye's nearly entire history is now out on the table. If one thing is sure, the Kanye and Pete rivalry is far from over. However, with Pete's belief in being compassionate to those who struggle and Kanye's Christianity, there is also a possibility for a truce. If Pete and Kanye could become friends, it would be one of the most entertaining narrative shifts The Kardashians fans have ever seen.
