The smart dialogue was definitely another great part of the movie. Between Sonic and Dr. Robotnik, fans couldn't help but cry-laugh all throughout the film. Here are the 10 most perfect quotes from Sonic the Hedgehog that did not disappoint.

"Why Is That Incredibly Handsome Hedgehog Being Chased By A Madman With A Civil War Mustache?" - Sonic

Sonic the Hedgehog opens with a teaser scene featuring Sonic being chased by Dr. Robotnik. Of course, the audience has no idea what is going on just yet so Sonic breaks the fourth wall for a moment and accurately guessing what's going through viewers' minds.

This quote is great as it perfectly encompasses Sonic's cocky, yet lovable and humorous personality. It also set an adventurous and playful tone for the rest of the movie and clued the audience in on the inevitable Sonic versus Dr. Robotnik showdown that would take place near the end of the movie.

"With Great Power Comes Great Power-Hungry Bad Guys." - Sonic

Sonic explains at the beginning of the film that he has been living on the run for his entire life due to his gift. His powers are so great that there are plenty of "bad guys" out there who want to capture Sonic and his powers.

This quote shows that Sonic is very self-aware, he understands the dangers of his power and the sacrifice that Longclaw made for him. He lives in seclusion in Green Hills, Montana and has clearly made some sacrifices of his own in order to stay safe.

"Where Am I? What Year Is It? Is The Rock President?" - Sonic

Sonic is an incredibly endearing character for several reasons such as having a great sense of humor, and this quote is a great example. Regardless of the hardships that Sonic goes through, this film never gets too serious as Sonic is always at the ready with comic relief.

It's impossible to not love Sonic, he simply gives viewers no other choice but to root for him. From his comical dialogue to his most-endearing qualities, such as his greatest wish of finding a friend, Sonic leaves the audience wanting more Sonic.

"I’m The Top Banana In A World Full Of Hungry Little Monkeys." - Dr. Robotnik

Ah, Dr. Robotnik, the over-the-top villain that fans love to hate. The doctor makes it clear throughout the film that he thinks he's, well, top banana. He obviously thinks pretty highly of himself and wants to make sure that everyone else does too, thus this iconic quote was born.

The diabolical Dr. Robotnik definitely never passes up an opportunity to remind his peers that he is superior in every way. Interestingly enough, Sonic outwits the doctor on several occasions throughout the film, so maybe he isn't top banana after all.

"You Talk To Donuts And Then Eat Them If They Get Out Of Line." - Sonic

Sonic and Tom's growing friendship is definitely a highlight of the film. There's nothing more satisfying than watching Sonic finally make that friend that he's been wanting for so long. Not to mention, it seems Tom was in need of a best friend as well. Sonic says this hilarious line to Tom after Tom asks why Sonic keeps calling him "Donut Lord."

Sonic had been secretly watching Tom and would often see him confiding in his donuts, so the nickname is pretty fitting and eventually becomes an inside joke for the two friends.

"I Wasn’t Spying. We Were All Just Hanging Out Except I Wasn’t Invited And No One Knew I Was There." - Sonic

Sonic and Tom look at each other in the car

This quote is Sonic's hilarious response to Tom accusing him of spying on him and his wife. Early in the movie, fans see Sonic secretly spend time looking in their windows so he can feel like he's spending time with them, without them actually know he's there.

While this could be extremely creepy, fans know that Sonic has good intentions and just wants to feel included without actually exposing his powers to the world. This quote is another example of Sonic's spot-on humor, it's impossible to be mad at Sonic for spying when he gives a response like this.

"You Just Picked A Fight With A Poorly Disguised Hedgehog Who's Seen Way Too Many Action Movies." - Sonic

The fight scene where Sonic takes down a number of threats in a bar is definitely one of the best scenes of the movie. Sonic and Tom are working on completing Sonic's bucket list when they are confronted by some men in the bar. Of course, that's when Sonic stands his ground and says this hysterical quote.

Sonic easily takes down the men by using his super-speed. The audience watches in slow-motion as he sets up a number of traps, such as wrapping one man completely in toilet paper.

"I Feel Just Like Vin Diesel. It’s All About Family, Tom." - Sonic

This film definitely a few Fast & Furious moments, such as when Tom and Sonic were in a car chase with Dr. Robotnik. Sonic nods at the franchise when he is forced to take the wheel of a speeding car and says the quote: "I feel just like Vin Diesel. It's all about family, Tom."

If you've seen the Fast & Furious movies then you know how much family means to racer, Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel). The same could be said for Sonic, he would do anything for his new friends who soon become family to him.

"You Know What's Hard About Being The Smartest Person In The World? Everyone Else Is Stupid." - Dr. Robotnik

Here's another example of Dr. Robotnik making it known that's he's the most superior being. He says this phrase to his assistant when Agent Stone fails to stop Tom and Sonic from escaping. Agent Stone explained that he felt it was more important to check on the doctor before pursuing Tom and Sonic.

Unsurprisingly, Dr. Robotnik doesn't agree with Agent Stone and retorts with this insulting quote. Ironically enough, the doctor seems to maintain his cocky attitude even after being isolated on the Mushroom Planet. However, this time his cocky attitude seems to be covering the fact that he's slowly becoming unhinged.

"What Do I Look Like, An Imbecile? Of Course, I Want A Latte. I Love The Way You Make Them!" - Dr. Robotnik

This is definitely Dr. Robotnik's most endearing quote. The doctor says this hysterical line after Agent Stone offers him some coffee. Not only is this quote hilarious, but he actually seems to be complimenting his assistant at this moment.

It's unclear as to why Agent Stone sticks around to assist the doctor after being treated so poorly, but maybe Dr. Robotnik is more loveable once you get to know him. Either way, it seems that Agent Stone will have a bit of a break from the doctor, judging by the ending of the film.
